Drk Institute Of Science And Technology, Hyderabad (DRKIST) Ranga Reddy

DRK Institute was started in the year 2004 by Mr.D.B Chandrasekhar Rao in the memory of his late father Sri Dasari Rama Kotaiah. DRK IST belongs to DRK Educational Group and is approved by AICTE.

The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. It is a private type institution.

The institution offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses to its students. The departments of the institution include:

Application and Admission Procedure

How to apply:

The interested candidates can apply to various courses conducted by D R K Institute of Science and Technology through two different modes:

1. Online
2. Offline

The online form fill up can be done via Internet, the candidates are instructed to keep all the mark sheets in hand, and upload them in the necessary fields.

For Offline form fill up, the candidate needs to complete the registration procedure in person. The examination fees needs to be paid in cash along with all the Xerox copies of the required documents.

The fees for application fees can be done by Net Banking, Credit card/Debit card or through Demand Draft.

Admission Procedure:

The institute conducts entrance examination for few courses. For that hall tickets are issued, the candidates are instructed to collect them. After successfully clearing the entrance examination, the candidates are called for counselling.

Admission to Few courses is done on the basis of marks in the last examination qualified. At the time of counselling, the candidates must carry all the required documents.

Hostel and Facilities

Library

The college management is very sensitive to the needs of the students. In order to ensure that student’s acquire knowledge beyond the class work and are updated with the recent developments in the field of engineering and technology, the management has provided them with a library. Besides text books, the library is well- equipped with reference books, national and international journals with a collection of 5,320 volumes, 850 titles and 26 journals.

The college campus offers spacious classrooms, drawing halls, workshop halls and laboratories for physics, fuel and computers.

Laboratories

The college provides department specific labs that are equipped with highly advanced, latest technological equipment’s to be accessed by the students. The college hires well trained and highly educated staff members and technicians to help the students with their various lab experiments.

Classrooms

All the classrooms wherein classes for varied courses are conducted, are well- equipped with LCD projectors and Audio- visual sound systems and all other essential amenities.
