Axis College of Engineering & Technology (AxisCET), is a private self-financing engineering college established and run by Global Knowledge Foundation, a Trust registered under Indian Trust Act in 2009.The college is situated nearly 8 km from Cochin - Kodakara - Thrissur National Highway 47.Situated away from the bustle of the city, the campus is embraced by lush greenery and is breathtakingly beautiful. The unpolluted, quiet atmosphere creates the right ambience for learning. The college offers B Tech courses in five branches of engineering – Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication and Computer Science & Engineering.

AxisCET was started in the academic year 2010-11 for promoting excellence in professional education. The governance of the college is based on equity and objectivity in the application of rules and procedures that are developed and applied without favour or discrimination.

The College will try its best to produce quality man power. The College with world class facilities will strive to strengthen physical, mental and spiritual faculties of the teacher and the student. Ultimately an educational township amidst the quite village atmosphere of Vellikulangara and Mukundapuram panchayath in Thrisur District will be established.

AxisCET meets the Kerala Government and Calicut University guidelines in matters of student admissions and fee structure. The college has implemented the AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme for promoting technical education for women, handicapped and weaker sections of the society.
