Galgotians Institute of Management and Technology is a private university which is approved by AICTE and Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. This technical university is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow.
This institute offers courses in Post graduate program as well as Undergraduate program. The courses are offered in CE, CSE, ECE, EE, EEE, EIE, ICE, IT, ME.
The college campus is spread across wide area which includes world class facilities. It include Wi-Fi with the speed of 4 Mbps, Computer labs, a library, canteen, sports grounds, health facilities, counseling halls, transport facility, hostels for boys and girls, an auditorium and sound proof lecture halls.
The admissions for UG programs are done on the basis of test conducted by the university, named Galgotlas Entrance Examination. While for PG program admissions are done on the basis of percentage scored in respective UG program.

Hostel and Facilities
Hostel
Galgotias Institute of Management and Technology has separate hostel accommodations for boys and girls. The students have the option of availing 2/3/4 persons sharing rooms.
The hostels provides 24 hours internet access. There is a mess in each hostel as well as medical attention with ambulance on standby.
Other Facilities
The institute provides other facilities such as- auditorium, well stocked library with access to variety of E-Resources, modernized laboratories, in-campus general stores and a gymnasium.
There a medicinal dispensary present on campus for any kind of medical attention. Moreover the college has a tie up with a nearby hospital for medical emergencies.
