The CETKR college was established in the year 2000. It was developed under the aegis of the Co-operative Academy of Professional Education ( CAPE ), Govt. of Kerala. This government college is located in Trikaripur, Kerala. It is affiliated with the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and the Cochin University of Science and Technology.

It is approved by the AICTE and accredited by the NAAC, with ISO certification. The college wishes to be paramount in the field of education and research in Technology.

The campus is spacious, neat and clean and harbours a Library, segregated Hostels, Seminar Halls, Convenience Store, Sports Grounds, Computer and Engineering Labs, Training and Placement Cell, Dining and Transportation facilities.

The placement cell invites companies such as Accenture, IBS, Ultra Tech, Infosys etc. to hire the graduates.
