John Institute of Technology was started in the year 2006 under the name of T. John Group of Institutions in Bangalore. The objective of the institute is to impart engineering education to its students and prepare them to get top notch jobs in the industry. B. A. Program

The admission to the MBA program of the college is done on the basis of the PGCET score plus the KMAT score. The candidates would then be selected on the basis of screening test organised by the institute.

Admission Procedure

Students are allotted the seats on the basis of counselling organised by Karnatka Government. 50% of the seats are allotted through this process. The remaining 60 seats are allotted through the KMAT examination followed by a screening process. The accumulative score of the screening round is used to take final admissions of the candidate.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate who wishes to appear for the M.B.A program offered at the institute must have a graduation degree from a reputed Apart from this he should have cleared his degree in the first attempt with a minimum of 50% in the final examination. Also, he should have appeared in either PGCET or KMAT and should possess a valid score of the same.

Campus Facilities

• The college has a well-developed campus with all the modern amenities. It has a digital library that provides access to thousands of resources worldwide.
• A well ventilated and spacious classrooms equipped with audio and visual devices, so that learning can be made more interactive.
• A large playground with sports equipment so that the students can actively take part in sports such as football and volleyball.
• An auditorium cum seminar hall where cultural events and guest lectures are organised.
• Transportation facility to the nearby areas is also provided, for which the students have to register in advance.

Hostels

The college has a separate hostel for both boys and girls. Students have the option to choose hostel with basic amenities or go for luxurious ones. Application for both is to be submitted at the time of admission.

Fee Structure

The fee structure for the Master of Business Administration Program (M.B.A) is mentioned as under

• Total Tuition Fees: - 3,75,000/- for entire course
  • First Installment of Rs. 1,75,000/- is to be paid at the time of admission.
  • Second is to be paid 6 months after after of Rs. 75,000/-
  • Thirs is to be paid of Rs. 75,000 in the third semester.
  • The last instalment is again to be paid of Rs. 75,000 in the end semester.

Hostel Charges:

The students are provided hostels provided that they apply for one. There are two types of rooms allotted:

1. Basic Rooms with food and accommodation
   1. For boys Rs. 62,000/- for 11 months
   2. For girls Rs. 66,000/- for 11 months
2. Luxurious rooms with TV, Microwave, Fridge, (Self Cooking)
   1. For Boys and Girls, the charges are Rs. 65,000/- for 11 months.

*On –campus hostel is also provided to boys at Rs. 95000 on 3 sharing basis.

Student Life

Students are made to participate actively in extracurricular activities such as sports, cultural activities and Workshops.
