M.H Saboo Siddik (MHSS) College was established in 1984 and is located in Byculla at Saboo Siddik Polytechnic Road, Mumbai. The college is affiliated to University of Mumbai and has been accreditated with ‘A’ grade by NAAC. It has also been approved by UGC and NBA. The college is a private engineering college.

The motto of the college symbolizes socialism and secularism. The college apart from engineering also supports management courses but they are UN-AIDED. The college has been reviewed as good colleges by the students who have studied here and also the faculty members are quite supportive and are ready to help all the time.

The college provides off-campus hostel residence for boys and girls. There is regular transportation services available to take the students to the campus and back.

The institute has various other facilities like – spacious classrooms with audio visual equipment, multiple auditoriums and air conditioned seminar halls. There are modernized laboratories for different departments-

• Automobile engineering- auto tronics lab, heat engine lab, vehicle system lab
• Civil engineering – fluid mechanics and hydraulics lab
• Computer engineering- networking lab, software engineering lab, microprocessor and H/W lab
• E & T engineering – advance communications lab, microwave fiber optics, SATCOM and RADAR

There are multiple cafeterias and a central library which is fully stocked. Students can access various academic databases such as- ASCE journals, ScienceDirect, J-GATE, IEEE Explore for free from the library. The library also has access to popular news feeds like – BBC News, The Hindu, Times of India etc.

The institute has an indoor games complex for chess, carom etc.
