North Malabar Institute of Technology – NMIT – is promoted by North Malabar Educational and Charitable Trust, comprising of a group of visionaries from North Malabar and their friends and relatives, who share a common vision of providing engineering education that will mould true engineering values.
NMIT now offers B.Tech courses in five branches, and is affiliated to Kannur University.
North Malabar Institute of Technology is located in a picturesque location near Kanhangad Municipal Town. The college is just 8 kms from Kanhangad Railway Station and Bus Stand, and 6 kms from Mavungal Junction on NH 17.
