Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (SRCOEM), formerly Shri Ramdeobaba Kamla Nehru Engineering College (SRKNEC) is an autonomous institution affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. It is situated in Nagpur, Maharashtra.

The college was established in 1984 by Shri Ramdeobaba Sarvajanik Samiti trust. It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution and NAAC Accredited with ‘A’ grade. All engineering programs of the college are NBA accredited (Washington Accord). A new campus which includes a sports complex is under construction in Mohali village, 35 km away from Nagpur.

The institution imparts quality education in Undergraduate, Post Graduate, MBA, MCA as well as PhD programmes. The courses offered are:

For admissions, the

candidates should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with minimum 45% marks (minimum 40% marks for candidates of Backward class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) aggregate in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
 

Hostel and Facilities

The Institute provides excellent hostel facility within the campus for the students. There are separate hostels for both boys and girls.

The boys’ hostel is located at the rear end of the college and the girls’ hostel is located near the Ramdeobaba temple.

There are two hostels for boys’ which have the capacity to accommodate around 433 students. All students will be provided with double occupancy rooms.

Girls’ hostel has the capacity to accomodate145 students based on triple and double occupancy.

The first year students are given special provision in the hostels. There are About 140 first year students in Boys’ hostel and about 36 students could be allowed to stay in girls’ hostel.

There are five types of bed to choose from as per the student’s comfort, like Single bed, Double bed, Triple bed, Four bedded room, and Five bedded room.

The hostellers are provided with healthy food, the environment of the hostels is quite homely to make the students feel at home.

    To pursue MBA at RKNEC students must satisfy following eligibility criteria.

    In order to secure admission to first year of two-year full time MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDM course, the candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria: Passed with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate ( 40% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelor�s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities OR Appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor�s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities. Such candidates can be considered for provisional admission subject to passing the Degree exam with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only). Stage - V: Registration for the GD & PI Stage - VI: Appearing for the GD & PI Stage - VII: Submission of Work Experience certificate. Stages (VIII- XVI) of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Stage VIII �Confirmation of �Application Form for Admission� at ARC Stage- IX: Display of Merit list and issue of score card. Stage-X: Submission and confirmation of online option form for CAP Round I, II and III Stage-XI: Display of Allotment, Rules of Reporting to the �Respective Institutes� and confirmation of the admission of CAP ROUND-I.
