SUBHARTI UNIVERSITY DISTANCE EDUCATION FEES STRUCTURE

Subharti University Distance Education

Subharti University introduced distance education on the recommendation of the Joint Committee of the University Grants Commission and the All India Council for Technical Education and Distance Education Council.

Subharti University Distance Education branch was established in the academic year 2009-10 to offer distance programmes at the UG and PG levels.

Fees Structure of Subharti University Distance Education

The Directorate of Distance Education, SVSU offer 27 distance programmes with the fees per year listed in the table below:

Eligibility of Subharti University Distance Education

Subharti University Distance Education offers 7 UG, 8 PG, 7 PGD and 4 diploma programmes in the distance education category. Given below are the tables in which the subject and their eligibility criteria are mentioned below-

Subharthi University Distance Education Admission Procedure

The admission form and the prospectus are required to be obtained in either of the 2 ways:

Method-1: By obtaining in person from the address of DDE, Swami Vivekananda Subharti University, Subhartipuram, NH-58, Delhi-Hardwar Bypass Road, Meerut or city office located at Lokpriya Hospital Complex, Samrat Palace, Garh Road, Meerut by paying RS. 125 with the help of the demand draft.

Method-2: Sending a demand draft of Rs 175 which should be drawn in favour of “SVSU, Distance Education” payable at Meerut along with a filled application form from the Directorate of distance education.

After obtaining the application form and submitting them with the required details, the applicant’s eligibility criteria will be checked and admission will be granted on the acknowledgement of the fee receipt and admission form.

After the confirmation of the admission, an identity card will be issued by the University. The identity cards would be required at the time of their counselling sessions or PCP’s and also during their study material receive. The ID card will remain valid during their whole study programme.

Admission in case of MBA and MCA Course

In case of admission to Distance MCA and MBA programme, an entrance examination is conducted as per the decision of the university. The information regarding the test can be obtained from the official website.

Alternatively, the students can be also granted admission on the basis of their score in any central or state level examination of the similar course.

Documents Required

The form should be filled and required documents should be attached which are mentioned below:

  • Demand draft for the course fee
  • Attested photocopies of the marks obtained and certificates of the qualifying examination which should be signed by a Gazetted officer or the principal of the former institution.
  • Self-attestation of certain documents if allowed
  • 4 recent passport size photos
  • In case of qualification from a foreign university, equivalence certificate should be obtained from the Association of Indian Universities
