Nirma University (NU) is a private university established in Ahmedabad Gujarat by Nirma Education and Research Foundation (NERF) in 2003. The university was established as Nirma University of Science and Technology. Nirma institute of Technology and Nirma institute of Management are two colleges that were in existence when the university was established. It is spread over 100 acres.
The university was ranked in “Top 25 Law Colleges In 2017” by Outlook India. It was also ranked at 79th position by NIRF in 2017.
The university offers various courses in Technology, Management, Science, Law and Architecture.
The university has more than 5000 students on its campus.
The university has a successful track record of placing students in top companies like Tata, Mahindra, Ranbaxy among others.
Application and Admission Procedure

Below is a step by step process of how you can apply for this university-
Step-1: The candidates need to sign on the official website using their name, mobile number and functional email address on the basis of which the selection of admission category has to be done. An OTP will be send to the registered credentials which has to be submitted in order to proceed.
Step-2: The candidates will have to fill the information in the online application form after signing in. The candidates can apply through an admission test or through direct admission board.
Step-3: The fee has to be paid via the net banking, debit cards, credit cards or the demand drafts whichever is convenient.
Step-4: The supporting document has to be attached in order to complete the application form. After the payment has been made, the application process will be completed.
In case of the entrance examination, the admit card will be available 1 week before the examination.
Hostel and Facilities
Nirma University offers hostel facilities. The students pursuing MBA program are required to stay in the residential facility provided by the hostel throughout the duration of the course. Though under special cases the university grants permission to reside stay outside the hostel.
The institute provide hostel facilities to both boys and girls and also have separate hostels. The hostels for both boys and girls are situated on the campus of the university.
The hostel rooms are spacious and well furnished. The hostellers get various sports facilities and a gym. The meals are served in hostel which is vegetarian.
Apart from all the above-mentioned facilities, Nirma University also provides many other facilities to its students. Like, laundry facilities, medical facilities which is available from 11.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
There are many extracurricular activities too which are organised by the university for the students. Though the university strictly maintains discipline inside the hostels.

Remarks
The facility provided by the university is average. The fee charged by the university is a bit high as well as a management exhibit laid back when it comes to making crucial decisions.
Entrance Exam
I had given the CAT exam and scored around 70 percentile and was admitted into the college after interview. I chose this college as it is one of the best colleges in my state and as well as i had heard a lot about the placements offered by them
Fees
The free charged by the university is very decent and they charge around Rs 80,000. To this does not include any miscellaneous charges and additional 10 to 15 k needs to be paid in misc is charges every year.
Placements
College provides jobs in more than 30 companies to students as that is all matters today. Companies from different sectors come during the placement and therefore you have a lot of choice to choose from. This package of it was around 6 lacs and the maxim package that one that was around 12 to 15 lacs. Around 80% of the students get placed and the rest decide to do something of their own i.e start-up.
Hostel and Facilities
Yes college provides hostel facilities to the student. The rooms are in good condition and our cleaners come regularly. Though I have felt some network issues here but that is manageable.

The faculty of the college is very understanding as well as try to teach us through modern methods of teaching like projectors and presentations but they are also learning and sometimes we have to help them which is also fun.

Remarks
The attendance criteria is taken very seriously and students need to have at least 85% attendance otherwise they will not be allowed to set for the exams. The college maintain premium polity date education or other activities sister of a lot of exposure candy garland here if you want to
Entrance Exam
Yes the college does except students based on the jee mains i was selected based on this only. As i wanted to study in my city is college was best for technical education.
Fees
For a middle class boy like me the fee is quite expensive. I have paid around rupees 1.6 lacs per annum. Also the facilities offered by the college are a bit less as compared to the fee charged. But overall i am happy the way things turned out.
Placements
The college provides placement place to students. If you are a good student you can bag very good package is here. The placement self providers the required training before the placement season starts. The highest package was around 8.5 lacs.
Hostel and Facilities
The hostel facilities are not provided to the students. Especially for pg students though i think post graduate students hostel are provided. The mess provide food which is great. Most of my friends lived in nearby pg as a lot of speech is our also available.

Alumni network of the college is pretty strong and there is active interaction between the students and alumni. It has a separate portal for alumni connection. The college also keep us updated about where yes job face and other related things.

The facility of the colleges very understanding as well as indicated. They provide the required exposure to us. Also there just in communication when ever contacted. They do not believe in book is language and are very keen on providing us right information also the classes are conducted regularly
