Ganpat University, Vidyanagar, Gandhinagar Mehsana

Ganpat University is a private University established in 2005 by the State Legislative Act No.19 of 2005, Govt. of Gujrat. It is run by a trust namely, Mehsana District Education Foundation in Gujrat. This university is recognized by various organizations like UGC, AIU etc.

It offers UG, PG, Diploma and Research programmes in various disciplines like many branches of engineering, pharmacy, management, Arts, Social Science etc.

This well-known university implements industry-oriented education model. For this initiative this university got World Education summit award-2014 by Promoter of digital Learning Magazine Moreover, this university has collaboration with various national and state industries.

The distinguishing factor of the university is that it is the only university in the state that offers B.Tech in Marine Engineering.

It has a quite large and spacious WiFi enabled campus with lab, gym, Hospital, ATM, hostel, Guesthouse, cafeteria etc. This university provides its graduation degree through some colleges like UV Patel College, SK College of Pharmaceutical Education & Research etc.

The admission into most of the UG and PG programmes is on the basis of merit marks scored in 10+2 and Bachelor course respectively. The gateways in the BTech and MTech courses are Gujrat common Entrance Test/JEE Main/GATE. For BArch, NATA score is the only gate pass. For some courses like BDes, MPhil, PhD etc. the university conducts its own entrance test.

Hostel and Facilities

Campus Facility

The sprawling and green campus of Ganpat University is located in Kherva, Mehsana region of the state Gujarat. The campus is spread over 300 acres of land providing state of the art infrastructure for over 10,000 students.

Campus facilities include a guest house, shopping center, bank, ATM, open-air theatre, gymnasium hall, campus clinic and various ponds adding to the aesthetic environment of the campus. A developed sports arena for students is also present, where indoor and outdoor game equipments are available.

Hostel Facility

Separate hostels for both boys and girls are available on campus. These hostels can cater almost 3000 students at once. Rooms are well furnished with a table, cupboard, chair and free WiFi facility throughout the day.

Other facilities include recreational room, medical center, sports complex and hygienic mess. There is also a facility of the mini market consisting of around 20 shops in the vicinity of the hostel.
