Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) was established in 1979 by the Society of Jesus in Chennai, Tamil Nadu as a private business school. LIBA has started offering a 2-year PGDM programme equivalent to MBA since 1995. It is managed by the Jesuits and they are very well known for their contribution to education. LIBA MBA Application Process 2022

Candidates have to apply for the PGDM programme at LIBA separately after appearing for the CAT/XAT exam. They have to follow the steps mentioned below for applying for PGDM programmes at LIBA.

• Go to the official website - http://admissions.liba.edu.
• Now, press the "Register Now" link available on the homepage of LIBA to create a login account.
• The login details such as Login ID and Password will be sent to the email ID you have provided at the time of registration. You can click on the reset link if you forgot your password.
• Login with the login details and provide your XAT/CAT ID, and personal information and upload your recent passport-size photograph.
• Now, give information about your educational qualification and upload the essential documents.
• Enter your work experience information and upload the necessary documents.
• Confirm all the information you have provided and submit the application form. You have to make an online fee payment of Rs. 2,000/- through debit/credit card or net banking or UPI for the PGDM application process complete.
• Download the duly filled PGDM application form in the PDF form and email it to admissions@liba.edumailto:admissions@liba.edu.

LIBA MBA Selection Process 2022

The selection of candidates for the PGDM programme will be done by following the stages given below.

Stage I - Shortlisting for WAT/GD/PI

• All the eligible candidates who have applied for the LIBA to pursue the PGDM programme must have a valid CAT 2021/XAT 2022 Score.
• Students must secure the scores mentioned according to the category in the cutoff section to qualify for Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

Stage II - Attending WAT/GD/PI

The candidates who have attended the WAT/GD/PI will be shortlisted for final selection based on the parameters given below.

Stage III - Merit List

• The final selection and waiting list will be released after the completion of WAT/GD/PI.

LIBA MBA Fee Structure

LIBA MBA Eligibility Criteria 2022

Candidates should have a valid CAT 2021 or XAT 2022 score to become eligible for PGDM admission. However, candidates should fulfil the below eligibility requirements.

• All the candidates wishing to apply for PGDM admission at LIBA, Chennai must have completed their Graduation in regular mode from a recognized university.
• Candidates must have a high performance in academics, i.e, at least 60% marks in Class X, XII and Graduation.
• Candidates who have cleared all the subjects in their first attempt itself will be given preference. Candidates with a background of more than 2 arrears are advised not to apply for PGDM admission at LIBA.

Scholarships

There are three types of scholarships offered to the students at LIBA, Chennai and the details of them are given below.

• The three types of scholarships are offered on need, merit-cum-need and merit basis.
• The merit scholarships to the students are offered based on the academic performance of the candidates only.
• Each student is eligible to get one scholarship in a year only.
