About the Institute and Course

RCBC, that is, Rajagiri Centre for Business Studies aspires to facilitate the integrated and comprehensive development of students. The core values of this institute include service, mutual respect, integrity, learning and excellence. RCBC offers a two years full-time MBA program that is divided into four semesters along with a summer internship. The MBA program is offered by the School of Management of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (RCSS) which was granted autonomous status by UGC in the year 2014.

Application Procedure

The applicants can apply for the MBA program through the online portal or through the help desk at RCSS, Kakkanad, Kochi. The link for the online application portal is given below:

The application fees can be paid through the following methods:

• Debit card/internet banking/credit card
• DD in favour of Principal, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, that is payable at Ernakulam or cash payment

After submitting the application, the candidate is required to submit the forms that are essential for admission to the program that she is applying for.

• It should be noted that the college has the right to change or alter the dates and timings at any point of time during the application process. Further, the details entered by the candidate should be correct as any error can lead to rejection of the application.
• It should also be noted that in case the application status is visible as applied and not paid then the payment procedure has not been completed successfully. Further, if the candidate has not received any mail regarding the application after completing the payment then the application procedure is incomplete and payment shall go to the refund process. The refund process can take around fifteen days and the candidate shall keep checking the same with one’s bank.

Here are the details of the photograph that need to be uploaded during the application process:

• The candidate's coloured photograph with a white background wherein the ace is clearly visible and straight.
• The photograph should be uploaded from the centre.
• The photograph should be in JPEG format and the dimensions should be 125 pixels wide and 125 pixels tall with a maximum file size of 500KB.
• Candidates should avoid wearing hats (excluding religious hats), goggles and sunglasses.

The application fees and the price of the prospectus are INR 1000.

Admission procedure

The details about the admission process are listed below:

• After the application forms have been received, the shortlisted candidates shall be called for GD, that is, group discussion, PI, that is, personal interview and ST, that is, skills test. The information regarding the same shall be shared with the candidates through their registered email address and SMS to their registered mobile number.
• GD, PI and ST shall take place in 2 phases. In the 1^st phase, MAT December 2021, February 2022 and CAT 2021 examination scores shall be considered. In the 2^nd phase, CMAT-January 2022, KMAT-2022, MAT February 2022 and XAT 2022 scores shall be considered.
• Applicants who were unable to attend the first phase of GD, PI and ST can attend the second phase. During a single admission year, applicants can attend only once the GD, PI and ST.
• The call letter shall include the list of all documents that the candidate needs to bring a copy of for the eligibility verification on the date of GD, PI and ST.
• The basis of admission shall be marks attained in the GD, PI and ST.
• Applicant's previous academic record, relevant work experience, other non-academic achievements and similar inputs are considered while shortlisting and ranking the candidates during the various stages of the admission procedure.

It should be noted that the candidate is required to submit the printout of the application as well as the copy of the entrance score on the day of group discussion, personal interview and skills test.

Fee Structure

The total fees for the MBA program are INR 6,00,000. Here are the details about the two instalments in which the fees shall be paid:

• The hostel expenses for boys can range from INR 70,000 to INR1,00,000 annually.
• The hostel expenses for girls can range from INR 80,000 to INR 90,000 annually.

Eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria for taking admission to the MBA program are given below:

• The candidate should have completed the Bachelor's degree exams of Mahatma Gandhi University or any other comparable degree from a university that is recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University.
• The minimum aggregate score in graduation should be 50% or a Master's degree exam with a fifty per cent aggregate score. (In the case of SC/ST the candidate is required to have cleared the bachelor's examination)
• Students who are waiting for their final results are also eligible for applying.
• M/G University must recognize the degree attained by the candidate.
• Candidates are required to complete the entrance test and attain the prerequisite entrance score.
• The applicant should have a valid score for any of the following examinations:
• CMAT, that is, Common Management Admission Test, conducted by NTA, that is, National Testing Agency, New Delhi in January 2022.
• KMAT, that is, Kerala Management Aptitude Test, conducted by the fee regulatory committee for professional colleges/admission supervisory, Kerala in 2022.
• MAT, that is, Management Aptitude Test, conducted by the AIMA, that is All India Management Association, New Delhi in December 2021 or in February 2022.
