About the course

JIMS offers a three years bachelor in Business Administration program. The BBA program is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The aim of the course is imparting quality education to diverse students. The duration of the course is three years. It comprises six semesters to enable comprehensive learning for the students.

Application Procedure

Interested candidates are required to complete the online application form that is available at http://www.ipu.ac.in/

Admission Procedure

The students are selected for admission based on the qualification of the Common Entrance Test that is organized by GGSIPU. The result for CET shall be updated on the GGSIPU’s website. The details about the same are mentioned below:

  • The aspiring candidates should complete the one-time fee payment for each Common Entrance Test Code for registration in online counselling.
  • The fee submission shall be completed through GGSIPUs’ website.

The registration form submission is just a component of the counselling process. Solely paying the fee does not allow the admission of the applicant.

The details for registration of online counselling are mentioned below:

  • Applicants are required to fill out their preferable institutes as a part of the choice-filling procedure.
  • The choice filling shall be used for allotting the seats.
  • If the applicant does not complete the choice filling then the applicant shall not be taken into consideration for the online counselling.
  • As the process of choice filling is completed, on the basis of merit, religion and category the candidate shall be considered for online seat allotment.
  • The result shall be updated by using the given password and login Ids.
  • As the seats get allotted the applicants are needed to complete the payment of INR 40,000 for confirming the allotment and participation in the following counselling round. If the candidate fails to fulfil this, they shall lose the claim on the seat allotted to them and won't be allowed to take part in further counselling rounds.
  • Applicants can get a printout of the admission fee receipt after paying the academic fee.

The details about freezing the allotted seat as each round gets completed are mentioned below:

  • If the applicant is content with the seats allotted and is not interested in following counselling rounds then the candidate can freeze the assigned seats by selecting freeze in login id.
  • In case the candidate does not freeze the seat that is allotted then automatically the next higher preference shall be allotted in the further rounds based on the seats available. It should be noted that the applicant won’t be allowed to retain the previous allotment in any situation.

The details about withdrawal and fee refund are mentioned below:

  • If the candidate wants to withdraw the admission against the selected seats then withdrawal can be applied by tapping on the withdrawal option promptly.
  • After the refund of fees and withdrawal of admission, the applicant shall not be considered for further online counselling apart from spot counselling.

The details regarding seat conversion are mentioned below:

  • At the time of online counselling's last round, the seats according to region and category shall get transformed to the unreserved category after completing the seat allotment of the reserved category.

The details about the sliding round that is after the last round of seat allotment are mentioned below:

  • Solely those applicants who were allocated seats prior to the sliding round and who INR 40,000 as part academic fee and did not get their admission withdrawn or did not freeze the seats allotted to them as per the University's process shall meet the requirements for this round.
  • The applicant’s already entered preferences shall be the basis of the sliding round.
  • In case a candidate who completed the payment for part of academic fees is not willing to participate in the sliding round then the applicant shall be required to freeze the allotment.

The details of the applicants reporting to the allotted institute are mentioned below:

  1. Afterwards, in the online seat allotments’ sliding round, the applicant, if allocated a seat/retained the seat from the previous allocation/upgraded to higher choices/preferences, and if the candidate completed the payment of a part academic fee of rupees forty thousand then they can generate provisional admission slip as well as the enrollment number.
  2. Afterwards the sliding round of counselling, all the applicants have to report to the particular college and bring the essential documents for verification. Payment of the balance fee is also essential at this point.

The details about the spot round of counselling are mentioned below:

  • The conduction of spot counselling shall take place online after the admission process has been completed.
  • The candidates who are eligible and are willing to participate in the spot counselling are needed for completing the participation fee for counselling (separate). Non-refundable/transferrable INR 2,000 are the participation fee in spot counselling.
  • In case of vacancies, spot counselling shall be organized after the reporting of allocated applicants to the allotted institutions is completed. The vacant seats that are there after the reporting or admission of applicants shall be taken into consideration for filling-in-the-spot counselling.
  • In case an applicant cleared CET however did not get admission during online counselling then the applicant shall qualify for taking part in the online counselling if any vacant seat is available.
  • At the time of spot counselling, those applicants who were allocated a seat in the online counselling and completed the part academic fee as well for confirming their admission and further reported to the specified University school of study/college/institution shall be treated as admitted candidates. In case these applicants want to participate in the spot counselling then they need to pay a transfer fee of INR five thousand. The consideration of these applicants shall be based on their ranks. In case the candidate is not present at the time of counselling then they shall not be permitted to participate further. The vacant seats of these candidates shall then be offered to those candidates who participate in spot counselling with lower ranks in comparison to the applicants thus transferred.
  • Those candidates who were admitted in any round however they withdrew later according to the procedure will be permitted to participate in spot counselling.

Eligibility criteria

The detail of the eligibility criteria is mentioned below:

  • The candidate should have attained a cumulative score of at least fifty per cent in 12th grade. The cumulative score shall include the best four subjects (except specified otherwise). The score shall comprise English and other mandatory subject(s).
