B. Tech is a 4-year full time course, each year consisting of 2 semesters. BIT Mesra offers 11 specializations. Most popular entrance exam for this course is JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. The main eligibility criteria for this course is candidates must have taken Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

B. Tech application process:

• Submit all the required documents and click on ‘submit’.

Note: Application fee for general/OBC/EWS is of 1500Rs and for ST/SC is of 1000Rs.

B. Tech selection process:

• selection is based on JEE Main paper 2.
• candidates who qualify JEE Main paper 2 are qualified for JoSAA counselling.
• JoSAA counselling choice filling must be done and the seat allotments are scheduled.
• During the counselling two more additional mock seat allotment rounds takes place.
• JoSAA releases seat allotments through online mode after each round.

• Candidates must have taken Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in their 11th and 12th.
• Candidates must score minimum of 60% (average of English, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics) in 12th.
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD must have minimum of 50% in their 12th.
• Admission is based on the All India Ranking in JEE Main.
