BIT Mesra was established in 1955 by the Industrialist and Philanthropist Mr B.M. Birla to build an industrially strong and technologically advanced India. The achievements of the institute in terms of research and academics helped it in achieving the status of Deemed to be University in 1986. The MCA programme of BIT Mesra is of a 2-years duration and is originally designed as a three years programme to produce industry-ready IT professionals. • BIT Mesra conducts an online entrance test for all eligible students.
• Provisional selection for MCA admissions at BIT campuses will be done based on the performance of students in the MCA Online Entrance Test conducted by the institute.

• The MCA online entrance test conducted by the institute is a national-level exam.

Hostel Fee

• The hostel mess charges of the BIT Mesra campus will be approximately Rs. 3,500/- to Rs. 4,000/- per month.
