About
Vellore Institute of Technology was founded in the year 1984 with the aim of providing quality higher education to its students. The Business Administration programme in VIT is in collaboration with the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), USA. It is designed to create a transformational change in young minds and help in developing the best business mindsets. Students get the option of choosing the duration of their degree. Candidates can do a 3 years bachelor’s degree from VIT or 2 years in VIT and 2 years in RIT (USA). VIT provides a few specializations in BBA such includes, General Management, Digital Marketing, FinTech, and Business Analytics.
Candidates are selected based on their academic performance and the personal interview round conducted by the institute. VIT has been awarded the highest grade by the NAAC in the last 3 consecutive years and in the Impact Ranking, VIT has an Indian ranking of 9-11 and a Global ranking of 301-400.

Application Procedure
Candidates need to follow the following procedures for applying at the Vellore Institute of Technology for a BBA:
Step 1: Go to the official website. See: https://vit.ac.in/
Step 2: Click on the Apply Now portal. This will redirect you to the application portal see: https://viteee.vit.ac.in/?utm_source=V71TI1557&utm_campaign=viteee2023
Step 3: Fill out all the details asked in the form like name, email id, phone number, etc.
Step 4: Upload all the required documents. Such documents include:
- Recent passport-size photo
- Softcopy of the candidate’s signature
- Two copies of the marksheet and certificates of High school and intermediate examination
- Copy of the transfer certificate
- Copy of the migration certificate
- Community certificate (SC/ST only)
- Affidavit by the student
- Affidavit by the parent

Step 5: Pay the application fee of Rs. 1,150 online through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card.

Admission Process/Selection Procedure
Candidates are selected after the application procedure in the following ways:
Step 1: Candidates are required to clear the admission test VITBEE conducted by the college. The examination information include:
- Mode of examination: Computer-based
- Total Duration: 120 minutes
- Candidates are tested on: Analytical skills, Reasoning Skills and General Awareness
- Total Questions: 120
- Type of Questions: MCQs
Step 2: Candidates on being shortlisted based on their performance will be called upon for the Personal Interview round.
Step 3: On clearing the test and interview round the candidate will be provisionally admitted to the VIT.
Step 4: The provisional admission letter will be issued only after the candidate pays the tuition fee of Rs. 50,000 in advance. Payment of the remaining amount will be informed to the candidate by the college.

Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility Criteria of Vellore Institute of Technology for pursuing a BBA are as follows:
- Candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks in their 10th and 12th board examination
- Candidates from any stream of study i.e., Science/Arts/Commerce are eligible to apply
- Candidates who are waiting for their 12th examination results can also apply at VIT
