VIT - Vellore Institute of Technology was established by the Act of UGC, 1956 as a Vellore Engineering College in 1984. The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India conferred it the status of University in 2001. VIT MBA Application Process 2022

Candidates who wish to pursue MBA from VIT Business School have to submit a duly filled online application form. The MBA programme application process at VIT Business School involves the following steps.

• Now, scroll down. Press the "Apply Now" link against the MBA Course available there.

VIT MBA Selection Process 2022

The selection of students for MBA admission at VIT Business School will be carried out by considering the following things.

• Scores Secured by the Candidates in the VITBEE 2022 or national-level aptitude tests like CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, NMAT, and GMAT.
• UG Marks and Online Interview.

VITBEE

• VIT Business School Entrance Exam (VITBEE) is conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) for students aspiring for admission to VIT Business School for the MBA programme.
• The VITBEE contains 3 sections and a total of 100 questions.
• The test is held for 2 hours and is conducted for 100 marks.

VIT MBA Fee Structure

The total fee that candidates have to pay for completing the MBA programme at VIT Business School is Rs. 7,00,000/-. The MBA programme fee structure at VIT Business School is given below.

• Candidates have to pay an amount of Rs. 5,500/- during the second year of the MBA programme towards the alumni and consolidated mark sheet fee.
• Hostel Charges - The institute charges Rs.45,000/- for a six-bedded non-AC room and Rs.65,000/- for six-bedded AC rooms. Single, Double, three-bedded, and four-bedded AC/Non-AC hostel rooms too are offered.

VIT MBA Eligibility Criteria 2022

The qualification requirements that candidates should fulfil to become eligible for getting admission to the MBA programme at VIT Business School are given below.

• Candidates are required to have valid VITBEE 2022 or CAT/XAT/MAT/NMAT/GMAT/CMAT/ATMA scores.
• All the students must have completed any Undergraduate or Integrated degree with a minimum of 60% marks or first class from a Government recognized university or institution.
• The qualification criteria for a UG degree will be relaxed by 10% for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST and students hailing from Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir and North-Eastern States of Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Sikkim, Tripura and Nagaland.
• After completion of higher secondary education or Class XII, the candidates must have studied for 3 years, i.e, Bachelor's degree must be of 3 years.
• Only regular students are allowed to apply for the MBA programme at VIT Business School. Students who have pursued their Graduation from Open University or through Correspondence mode are not eligible to apply for MBA programmes at VIT.
• Candidates who are studying in the final year of the Undergraduate degree whose results will be announced by the 15^th of August 2022 are also eligible to apply for the MBA programme at VIT Business School.

Scholarships

The scholarships that MBA students of VIT Business School can avail of are given below.

• All the students who have a valid CAT/GMAT/XAT score of 95 Percentile and above can avail full tuition fee waiver.
• All the students who have a valid CAT/XAT/GMAT score of 90 Percentile or above can get a tuition fee waiver of up to 50%.
• Students with a MAT score of 791 to 800 are available for a full tuition fee waiver while a 50% tuition fee will be waived for students with a MAT score of 760 to 790.
• Students who have an NMAT score of 340 to 360 can get a full tuition fee waiver while students with an NMAT score of 325 to 345 can get a 50% tuition fee waiver.
