JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE) Noida was established in 1998 in Uttar Pradesh. It is a private engineering institution and its full name is Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE). It is one of the renowned engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh that is affiliated with the APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. It is a part of the JSS Mahavidyapeetha Group of Institutions, Mysore founded in 1954. The engineering programmes of the JSSATE Noida are accredited by the NBA - National Board of Accreditation.

JSS Noida BTech Application Process 2022
Candidates can secure admission to BTech programmes at JSSATE through the following ways.
BTech
Students wishing to secure admission to the BTech programmes at JSSATE Noida should appear for the JEE Mains and the application process for JEE Mains is given below.
- Go through the JEE Mains' official website.
- Register yourself for the online application form for JEE Mains and complete the registration and get a system-generated application number.
- Choose a password and log in with the credentials to fill out the application form for the JEE Mains.
- Fill in personal, educational, exam cities and other details properly.
- On completion of entering the details, proceed to fee payment and finish it by paying the fee online.
BTech Lateral Entry
Students have to appear for the UPCET to secure admissions to the BTech Lateral Entry programmes and the details are given below.
- Candidates should register themselves on the official website of the UPSEE by providing essential details.
- Candidates have to select a security question and choose a password after entering the details.
- After this, candidates should upload their photograph and signature according to the specifications mandated by the exam conducting authority.
- Candidates should make a fee payment after uploading the documents to complete the application process for UPCET.
JSS Noida BTech Selection Process 2022
The selection of students for the BTech programme admissions at JSSATE Noida will be done through the following steps.
BTech
- Admission Through JEE Mains
- A total of 85% of seats of the BTech programme will be filled through the APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Counselling conducted based on JEE Mains rank according to the orders of the UP Government.
- Admission Through Fee Waiver Quota Seats
- Fee waiver seats are available for meritorious students and students of economically weaker sections.
- 5% of the total seats of the BTech programme will be filled through this.
- These seats will be allocated to students through UPCET counselling and no tuition fee will be charged to the students.
- Admission To Kashmiri Migrants
- According to the instructions of the UP Government and AICTE, direct admissions will be provided for Kashmiri Migrants.
- These kinds of admissions will be over and above the sanctioned intake generally limited to up to one admission per the institute affiliated with the APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University.
- Students seeking admission under this category need not appear for the entrance exam.
- Admission Through Management Quota
- According to the guidelines of the AKTU and policies of the college, 15% of the seats will be filled through Direct Admissions.
- For this, candidates should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with Mathematics, and Physics as mandatory subjects and Chemistry as optional subjects with an aggregate of at least 60% when marks in all the three subjects taken together.
- Admission Through Vacant Seat Counseling
- Vacant seats will be filled by the Institute after APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University counselling according to the instructions of the UP Government and AKTU.
- Candidates have to complete 10+2 with an aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (Optional) for BTech admissions.
- Admission Through AICTE
- Direct admissions under the Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme will be provided to the students of UTs of Ladakh and J&K according to the instructions of the Department of Higher Education, MHRD, Government of India.
- J&K cell is responsible for the implementation of the Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme outside the UTs.
BTech (Lateral Entry)
- 100% of the seats available at the JSSATE for the BTech Lateral Entry programme will be filled through the APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Counselling based on the UPCET marks conducted by the NTA.

JSS Noida BTech Eligibility Criteria 2022
The eligibility requirements for BTech and BTech Lateral Entry programmes at JSSATE, Noida are given below.
BTech
- All the candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as an optional subject with an aggregate of at least 45% marks in the above-mentioned subjects when taken together while it's 40% for the candidates of reserved categories.
BTech (Lateral Entry)
- Candidates should have completed a three-year Diploma in Engineering from an Institute located in Uttar Pradesh with an aggregate of at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates), Or
- Candidates whose parents are domicile of Uttar Pradesh and who have passed three years Diploma in Engineering with an aggregate of at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) recognized by the Board of Technical Education, UP.
- The three-year Diploma in Engineering obtained by the candidates should be in any branch of engineering except Pharmacy, Agriculture Engineering, or Architecture.
