IIMP Pune, that is, Indira Institute of Management aspires to achieve brilliance in various developmental facets. The mission of IIMP includes contributing to the human capital needs of the organizations by increasing the graduates’ employability. The MBA course offered by the Institute became Autonomous from the academic year 2019-2020. The 2 years full-time MBA program at Indira Institute of Management Pune has an intake of 300 students. The objective is to enable students to become solution-driven leaders, express ingenuity and work efficiently with different teams. The 2 years IIM-PGDM course offered aims to enable the graduates to make decisions based on ethics and values whilst demonstrating leadership skills.

Admission process

Admission Process - MBA

The admission process for an MBA in Indira Institute of Management, Pune takes place according to to set of rules by the APA, that is, Admission Regulating Authority. Here are some steps that the candidate can be mindful about:

• The candidates should be thorough with the various aspects of the Common Admission Process such as eligibility criteria, participation and process for the same.
• It is suggested that the candidates register themselves the online on state CET cell. The applicants are required to submit a list of their preferred Institutes. The document verification shall take place at the Setu Suvidha Kendra as allotted by the Maharashtra state's State Common Entrance Test Cell.
• The candidates can then keep themselves updated with the latest merit list released by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra state.
• It should be noted that the Institute is a part of the CAP procedure yet the round-wise allotments are completed by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra state.
• After the allotment has been completed by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra state, applicants ought to report to the Institute that is allotted to them in a timely manner. The applicant ought to submit the appropriate completed application form to the Institute. The other essential documents such as one attested copy of academic documents, Institutions' fees should also be submitted.

The two steps involved in the admission process are:

1. Registering for IIMP-AP: This involves online registration for PI, GD and counselling.
2. PI/GD and personal counselling: The applicant have to be available in the city of their choice for PI, GD and counselling. This stage can begin from the first week of April however the proper schedule for the same will be announced as required.

• The applicant ought to have a valid written score on any of these tests: AICTE – CMAT/XAT/ATMA/State level entrance test/CAT/MAT/G-MAT.
• The shortlisting of candidates shall be done based on ICAP, that is, Indira Common Admission Process – 2022.

Fee Structure

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria - MBA

The eligibility criteria for pursuing MBA include at least three years of a bachelor's degree with a minimum score of fifty per cent from any recognized Institute/university. Further, the aspiring candidate is required to clear group discussion, an entrance test and a personal interview for enrolling oneself in the topmost business school.

The examinations required to qualify can include:

• CAT, that is, Common Admission Test,
• MAT, that is, Management Aptitude Test
• MAH-MBA/MMS CET, that is, Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test
• CMAT, that is, Common Management Admission Test

• The candidate should have passed the degree exam from a recognized University with at least fifty per cent marks and at least forty-five per cent marks for the reserved category from any Indian state.
• At the time of admission, the application of reserved category applicants must be accompanied by an appropriate caste certificate along with a non-creamy layer certificate.
• Twenty per cent of the sanctioned seats are management quota seats.
• Students in their final year of degree can only appear for the admission process if they are having a certificate from their University/college regarding being a final year student who is waiting for the result.
• The applicant ought to have a valid written score on any of these tests: AICTE – CMAT/XAT/ATMA/State level entrance test/CAT/MAT/G-MAT.
