Mount Carmel College, Autonomous was established in the year 1948. It is owned and administered by the Carmelite Sisters of St Teresa (CSST), founded by Mother Teresa of St Rose of Lima in 1887. It has been fostering and developing extraordinary talents ever since. BBA here is a full-time 3 years undergraduate course consisting of 6 semesters in total.

Admissions are made on the basis of the MCMAT entrance examination score and the PI and GD rounds conducted by the college. Mount Carmel excels in providing quality education to its students. Thus, the rankings and accreditations are as follows:

Application Procedure

Candidates need to follow the following procedures for applying at the Mount Carmel College for BBA:

Step 1: Go to the official website of the college. See: https://mccblr.edu.in/

Step 2: Click on the 'Apply Now' portal available on the website. All UG and PG application forms opened in April 2022.

Step 3: Fill out all the details asked in the form and upload all the required documents. The documents include:

• Softcopy of the applicant’s recent passport-size photo
• Softcopy of the candidate’s signature
• Two copies of the marksheet and certificates of High school and intermediate examination
• Two copies of the transfer certificate
• Two copies of the conduct certificate
• Aadhar Card copy
• Migration Certificate
• Certificates of category for candidates taking admission under such category and their family income certificate
• Catholics must submit their Baptism certificate and a letter from the Parish Priest of their church
• Differently abled candidates must submit their Handicap or Disability certificate.

Admission Procedure/ Selection Process

Candidates are selected after the application procedure in the following ways:

Step 1: Candidates after applying at Mount Carmel will need to sit for the Entrance Examination MCMAT conducted by the college. The examination details are as follows:

• This examination will consist of Maths, English, Reasoning, Aptitude, Current Affairs, and General Knowledge.
• Test Duration: 60 minutes
• Test Type: MCQ based
• Total Questions: 60
• Mode of Examination: Only Offline

Step 2: On clearing the entrance examination, candidates will be called for a Personal Interview and Group Discussion round.

Step 3: The merit list will be declared and based on the candidate’s performance he/she will be admitted to the college.

Step 4: Before taking admission, candidates will be required to pay the registration fee and the first semester fee.

With all these above-mentioned stages successfully completed, candidates will get admission to Mount Carmel College.

Hostel Fees

Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria for Mount Carmel College for pursuing BBA are as follows:

Scholarships

Mount Carmel College provides a few scholarships to its students, and such are as follows:

• Central Sector Scholarship: This scholarship aims to provide financial aid to meritorious students and students from poor families. It provides an amount of Rs. 12,000 per year and candidates from 1^st year who scored more than 80% in their boards can avail of this scholarship.
• Post Matric Scholarship: Candidates belonging to minority communities which include Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, and Zoroastrians can avail of this scholarship. The scholarship amount is Rs. 3,000 per year.
