IIM Indore MBA Application Process 2022

Candidates who wish to take admission to the two-year PGP programme of IIM Indore have to apply for the CAT exam and select the IIM Indore option available in the registration form. The steps involved in the application process for getting admission to the PGP programme at IIM Indore are given below.

Step 1 - Registration for the CAT

• Go through the official website of the CAT - http://iimcat.ac.in.
• Under the "New Candidate Registration" tab, there will be a Register option, click on it.
• Now, provide your name, email ID, date of birth, nationality and mobile number. Now, press on to generate OTP.
• After registration, you will get an OTP to your mobile number that you have given at the time of registration.
• Verify registration for the CAT exam by entering the OTP.

Step 2 - Filling Up Form for CAT Exam

You will be provided with a user ID and password after entering the OTP. Log in with the credentials you received such as user ID and password to fill up the online CAT application form.

• Fill in the personal details, academic information and work experience.
• Also, select the IIM Institutes of your choice and MBA programmes you wish.
• Select the test city preferences from the options given up to 6.

Step 3 - CAT Registration Fee Payment

• The last step in the application process for the CAT is fee payment.
• Pay the fee for the CAT exam registration through net banking or by using debit/credit card.

IIM Indore MBA Selection Process 2022

The IIM Indore has adopted a 3 stage selection process for providing admission to the PGP programme and the details are given below.

1. Eligibility

• Candidates must fulfil the eligibility requirements for applying for the CAT exam and must secure a minimum sectional and overall percentile in CAT 2021.
• Only the candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility requirements for admission will be considered for the second stage of the selection process.

1. Written Ability Test and Personal Interview

• All the candidates who satisfy the requirements of stage 1 will be considered for short-listing for WAT and PI.
• A sufficient number of students from all the categories will be shortlisted based on the composite score as given below.

• Candidates who are shortlisted for the WAT and PI rounds will be informed in January 2022.
• Regret letters will not be sent to the candidates who didn't get shortlisted for WAT and PI.
• The IIM Indore will conduct the admission interviews offline or online in the notified centres depending on the situation.
• Candidates must attend both WAT and PI, failing which students will not be considered for further stages of the selection process.
• The IIM Indore expects the candidates to perform well in the different parameters of the Personal Interview and the same will be decided by the Admission Committee.
• Candidates who fail to meet any parameters of the Personal Interview will not be considered for the next stage of the selection process.

1. Final Selection

• Candidates who meet the requirements of stage 2 will only be considered for final selection.
• A merit list according to categories will be prepared based on the composite score and the details of the composite score are given below in tabular format.

Note

• The Written Ability Test (WAT) will not be conducted if interviews are being conducted online.
• The Zmax, Zmin and Zcandidate for components will be computed using normalisation process.

IIM Indore MBA Eligibility Criteria 2022

• All aspiring candidates should have passed their Graduation with an aggregate of at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/PwD) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institute.
• Final year students of Graduation can also apply for the CAT exam but the average score obtained by them in the first two years must be 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwD).
• Candidates for professional courses such as ICSI, ICWAI, and ICAI are also eligible to apply for the CAT exam.
