SIBM, that is, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management got established in the year 2008 in Bengaluru as an eminent part of Symbiosis International University (deemed). First step – Registration and payment for SNAP by 27^th November 2021.

Second step – Registration and payment for different programs @ SIBM Bengaluru latest by 17^th December 2021.

Fee Structure

The yearly fees for Indian students aspiring to join MBA are ?9,00,000 with a refundable Institute deposit of ?20,000.

Eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria for Symbiosis Institute of Business Management are mentioned below:

1. The applicant should have secured at least 50% or comparable grade in graduation from any recognized University or Institution of National importance.
2. Applicants appearing for final year exams are also eligible for applying however their admission will be based on securing at least 50% or comparable grade, in the case of Schedule Casts and Schedule Tribes the minimum score is 45% or comparable grade.
3. An applicant who has obtained eligible qualifications from any Foreign University ought to attain an equivalence certificate from AIU, that is, the Association of Indian Universities.

Specialization

Symbiosis Institute of Business Management offers two years full-time MBA course with 4 different specialization areas. These areas include:

It should be noted that the two years course involves 4 semesters. In the initial two semesters, introductory subjects of management are taught such as accounting, marketing, statistics, economy and many more. As the first-year ends, students participate in 8 weeks summer internship program. In the second year, the student gets the opportunity for specializing in the area of their interest from the above-mentioned specializations. The Institute also encourages students for gaining knowledge from electives apart from one’s area of specialization.

The allocation of specialization is based on the condition that a minimum of 20 students should be opting for the specific specialization.

Scholarships

• Late Jayatee Deshmukh Scholarship (for SET/SNAP female toppers): This scholarship is eligible for those female students who attain the maximum score on the SNAP test and take admission to any PG Symbiosis Institute. 75,000 INR is the scholarship amount that shall be paid to the institute to which the student gets admitted. The adjustment of the amount shall take place along with the first fee instalment. If a student qualifies for more than 1 freeship/scholarship by the Symbiosis Society Foundation then the student can select any one scholarship/freeship which they will be awarded.
