MDI (Management Development Institute) is located at Gurgaon, Haryana. It was established in the year of 1973 by Industrial Finance Corporation of India. This institute is spread over a campus of more than 37 acres. This is a privately-owned institute and offers various programs like MBA, PGDM, and Management Development Programs as well as Executive Postgraduate programs in both full-time and part-time mode.

Executive MBA at MDI Gurgaon

MDI Gurgaon offers 3 different executive post-graduate diploma programs. These are considered to be equivalent to an MBA.

• The Executive MBA programs at MDI are mainly designed for working executives.
• The duration of PGDM-BM program at MDI, Gurgaon is of 18 months and PGDM-BA is 24 months.
• PGDM-BM – The program consists of a total of 28 courses – 17 core and 11 electives.  There are total 5 terms. The program also has 2-week national immersion module and 3-day experiential learning module.
• PGDM-BA – There are total 4 terms of 3-months each. Classes are held in the evening 4 days a week (Thursday to Sunday).

Admission Procedure for Executive MBA at MDI Gurgaon

MDI accepts online application for its executive MBA program. Application can be submitted online till 27th March 2024 (second round) after paying an application fee of Rs.3000/- (Rs.5000/- for foreign nationals)

Online Application

First, the candidates have to register themselves on the official website of the university. The candidates need to enter Name, Phone Number and Email ID.

After the registration, candidates are required to fill an online application form with some basic details like specialization applied for, gender, category, qualification details, etc.

While filling the application form, the candidates have to upload the scanned copies of some important documents, those mandatory documents are mentioned below:

1. Latest photograph
2. Signature
3. Aadhar card
4. Class 10^th mark sheet
5. Class 12^th mark sheet
6. Graduation mark sheet
7. Caste or PwD certificate
8. A valid CAT/ GMAT score card (if any)

The candidate needs to submit the form online. There is no need send a physical copy to the institute.

The candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 3000 (incl. of 18% GST) for the successful submission of the application form. The application fee should be paid through Debit/ Credit card, Net Banking, NEFT/ RTGS, etc.

Shortlisting

Candidates are shortlisted based on CAT / XAT / GMAT scores. Selected candidates are called for a personal interview. Candidates who apply after the Round 1 deadline will be called for interview in Round 2. The interview may be conducted online.

After evaluating each candidate, a final merit list will be prepared and the candidates will be contacted by the institute through Email or SMS for the confirmation of seats.

Candidates need to pay the first installment of the fee to secure admission.

Executive MBA Fee Structure in 2024-25

The total course fee for executive MBA (PGDM BM) at MDI Gurgaon is Rs. 16,70,000/-. The program fee is to be paid in 3 instalments. This includes tuition, boarding and lodging expenses. There are extra charges for single occupancy rooms.

The candidates need to pay extra for the national immersion module.

The candidates are required to pay the program fees through Demand Draft, NEFT/ RTGS, Debit/ Credit Card, etc.

The first instalment is to be paid on the date of admission for the confirmation of seats.

Important Dates for 2024

The applications to MDI Executive MBA (PGDM-BM) are accepted in 2 rounds. Applications will open on 20th February 2024 and close on 27th March 2024 for second round. Classes will commence in July 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for Executive MBA

For admission to the Executive MBA program in MDI Gurgaon, the candidates are required the fulfil some desired eligibility criteria, those criteria are mentioned below:

• The candidates have passed a 3-year bachelor degree from any recognized university or college in any stream of their choice.
• The candidates have scored a minimum of 50% of marks in 10^th, 12^th and graduation or equivalent CGPA.
• The candidates should have a work experience of at least 3 years at Executive/ Managerial level after passing the graduation as on 31st March 2024.
• Self-sponsored candidates must have valid score in CAT 2023, GMAT or XAT 2024.

There is no upper age limit in applying for Executive MBA at Management Development Institute, Gurgaon.
