The NMIMS (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies) was established in the year of 1981. This institute is run by SKVM – a public charitable trust. NMIMS is a privately owned (deemed-to-be) university.

This institute has more than 15 schools which offer courses in various streams like Management, Pharmacy, Architecture, Engineering, Commerce, Business, Economics, Law, Aviation, Liberal Arts, Science, Music and among others. Other than Mumbai, NMIMS has it’s campuses in various cities of South-India like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Indore.

NMIMS Part Time MBA

The part-time MBA program is offered by the School of Business and Management at Mumbai campus only. Here are more details about the program –

• This is a 2-year long MBA program.
• Candidates are free to choose their class schedule,. An attendance of 80% is mandatory in each subject for appearing in End-term examinations.
• The course includes 102 credits and the total number of seats is 180.
• Classes are held only on weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) from 9am to 9.30 pm. Candidate can select suitable day and time slot.

Application and Admission Process

Online Registration – Students need to register themselves online on www.nmims.edu

One time registration fee of is Rs. 2500/- needs to be paid online. The fee is non-refundable and no fees will be charged for Personal Interview.

While filling the online application form the candidates have to upload the scanned copies of the following important documents:

1. Class 10^th Mark sheet
2. Class 12^th Mark sheet
3. Graduation Mark sheet
4. Work Experience Certificate which can be Appointment letter, Promotion letter and Relieving letter.

Selection Procedure

In the first round, candidate will be selected based on their performance in any of the following entrance tests –

• Written test conducted by NMIMS specifically for part-time MBA. Written test will have 3 sections – Quantitative (40 marks), Logical Reasoning (20 marks) & English (40 marks).
• GMAT with a score of 600 or more, taken in last 5 years
• Score of 200 or more in NMAT by GMAC

The next step will have a Personal Interview.

Final selection will be based on comprehensive evaluation of round 1 and 2.

NMIMS Part time MBA Fee Structure 2023-24

The total course fee for 2023-24 for NMIMS Part Time MBA is Rs.8,00,000/- payable in installments. Candidates will be informed about installment details upon admission.

Scholarships

The NMIMS is also providing university to its students in order to support the students belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) from General, SC and ST category. The eligible students of Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses are provided Rs. 1000 and Rs. 2000 respectively.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should be a graduate from any recognised university in any discipline of his/her choice with minimum 50% marks.
• The candidates who had obtained their degree through Part-time, Distance or Correspondence course are also eligible to apply.
• Work experience of a minimum of 3 years is compulsory.
• The work experience should be of Full-time work. The internships or Training period or Projects should not be included.
• The work experience should be at executive or supervisory level. Self-employed candidates too will be considered.

Specializations Offered

The NMIMS offers three different types of specialization in the Part-time MBA course, all the specializations are mentioned below:

1. Marketing Management
2. Finance Management
3. Operations Management

The one important thing is if the number of applicants for a particular specialization will be less than 10 then that specialization will be cancelled.
