The Symbiosis International is a deemed university located in Pune, Maharashtra. The first college of Symbiosis society was established in 1971, and that was affiliated to Pune University. In 2002 the Symbiosis International received the status of a deemed university. The university has its campus in six main cities of India and those are Pune, Bangalore, Noida, Nasik, Hyderabad, Nagpur, and in total there are 43 institutions.

In Pune, the university has its institutes at more than 5 locations through the city. Some of these institutes of Symbiosis International also offer Part-time MBA programs.

Symbiosis part-time MBA

Symbiosis University has multiple affiliated institutes that offer management programs. Some of these institutes also offer part-time executive MBA programs.

These programs are mainly designed for the working executives who want to upgrade their skills without leaving their jobs. Executive MBA programs at Symbiosis are all delivered part-time mode.

The duration of the course is of 24 months, i.e. of 4 Semesters and the classes are organized especially on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 9am to 5pm. Part Time mba offered by some of the Symbiosis institutes are 30 months long.

Application and Admission Procedure

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be based on performance in the personal interview to be held at the institute.

Symbiosis Part-Time MBA Fee Structure

The total fee for Symbiosis Part Time MBA at SIBM for year 2023-24 is Rs.6,60,000. The fee can be paid in 4 equal installments of Rs.1,65,000/- each.

All the required fees are to be paid through Debit/ Credit card or Net Banking.

The fee is payable in instalments and it should be paid after the confirmation of admission. All the institutes charge less than 5 lakhs for the program.

Scholarships

The Symbiosis International University provides various scholarships schemes like Merit-based scholarships which are awarded to only the batch topper of each program and scholarships to the IIT graduates who are pursuing any course at Symbiosis institutes. But, these Scholarships are only applicable to the candidates of the regular programs only.

Symbiosis Part Time MBA Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate from any university with minimum 50% at graduation (45% in case of SC/ST candidates)
• Candidates with graduation in distance mode would also be eligible provided that the institute they studies at are recognised by UGC/AICTE
• Candidate should have at least 1 year of work experience by 31st May of admission year in industry, company, government organization or autonomous institutes.
• Internships, Project or Training should not be considered.
• There is no upper age limit in applying for the part-time MBA at Symbiosis Institutes.
