Pune University MBA Application Process 2022

MBA (Regular) Through MAH-CET

For pursuing MBA (regular) at PUMBA through MAH-CET, candidates need to apply as a part of the CAP conducted by the DTE, Maharashtra and the steps are given below.

Step 1 - Candidates have to report to the Department of Management Sciences, Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Step 2 - After that, the original documents of the candidates will be verified.

Step 3 - Candidates have to complete the registration and fee payment online through SPPU One Campus.

Step 4 - Then, candidates have to submit the challan or payment receipt at the PUMBA Office.

MBA Pharma-Biotech and Executive MBA

All the candidates seeking admission at the PUMBA via national or state-level entrance examinations or Online Entrance Exam (OEE) can apply online by visiting the official website of the Savitribai Phule Pune University Campus Common Entrance Platform (CCEP). The steps involved in the application process for MBA admission at Pune University are given below.

Pune University MBA Selection Process 2022

The selection process for admission to the MBA programme is different for different specifications and the details are given below.

MBA

• Candidates belonging to the state of Maharashtra and wishing to apply for an MBA from Pune University should qualify MH-CET exam while candidates outside Maharashtra can apply through CMAT, CAT or MH-CET.
• The final selection of candidates will be based on the score obtained by them in the entrance examinations.

MBA Pharma-Biotech

The admission process for MBA Pharma-Biotech consists of 3 stages. The details are given below.

Stage 1 - Entrance Test

• The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) conducts ATMA (AIMS Test for Management) for admission to various management courses at different management schools in India.

Stage 2 - Application Form Submission and Fee at PUMBA

• Candidates should complete the application process available on the official website and pay the fee before the due date.
• The merit list will be prepared purely based on the ATMA score. The list containing the names of selected candidates will be displayed on the official website of the Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Stage 3 - Admission Confirmation

Admission gets confirmed only after

• Submission of all the original documents.
• Payment of fee online.

Executive MBA

• Candidates seeking admission to Executive MBA have to appear for the entrance test. It consists of 200 objective type questions from Arithmetical Ability, Data Interpretation, Verbal and Non-verbal Reasoning, Logical Deduction and General Mental Ability.
• Pune University has every right to change the selection criteria based on the number of applications received from the candidates.

Pune University MBA Eligibility 2022

MBA

• All the students must have completed their Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized university while the aggregate percentage is 45% for candidates belonging to backward classes and persons with disability.

MBA Pharma-Biotech

• All the candidates must have passed Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Sciences (General, Microbiology, Physics, Life Sciences, Zoology, Chemistry, Botany, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, etc) Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Technology Engineering from a recognized university with an aggregate of 50% marks while it is 45% for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories of Maharashtra.
• In addition to the above qualification, candidates must qualify for the ATMA test conducted on 29^th May 2022 or 24^th July 2022.

Executive MBA

• Interested candidates have to be a Graduate in any discipline from UGC or AIU or AICTE recognized institute or university with an aggregate of 50% marks while it is 45% for reserved categories.
• Also, candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience at the executive or managerial level after the declaration of graduation results till the date of application. Work experience that candidates obtained after Graduation will be taken into consideration.
• Managers of public or private sectors and Governments located in and around Pune having relevant experience are the potential candidates.
• However, entrepreneurs with relevant experience can also apply if the business is registered in their name.
