LNMIIT BTech

LNM Institute of Information Technology (LNMIIT) was established in Jaipur, Rajasthan in 2002 on a campus of 100 acres. It was founded as a public-private partnership venture between the Government of Rajasthan and the LNM Foundation. LNM Institute of Information Technology functions as an autonomous non-profit organization. The institute was established to create a niche for itself in both Indian and global arenas through a multi-disciplinary approach. It emphasizes skill development and knowledge inculcation at every stage of education.

LNMIIT BTech Application Process 2022

The details of the BTech admissions application process at LNMIIT are given below.

• Students who wish to apply for BTech admissions at LNMIIT should fill out an online application by visiting the UG admission portal of LNMIIT.
• They should press "Sign Up for New Registration" and fill in the necessary details to create an account for themselves.
• Candidates will receive their account information that contains the Application Number/Password essential for filling out the online application form for BTech admissions at LNMIIT.
• Candidates have to sign in to their account with their Application ID and Password and fill out all the mandated information in the application form.
• For Regular, Direct and Lateral modes of Admissions, candidates have to pay a non-adjustable and non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,000/- (Rs. 1,000/- for Female Students).
• For the DASA mode of admission, students have to pay a non-adjustable and non-refundable fee of Rs. 7,500/- for males and Rs. 3,750 for female students.

LNMIIT BTech Selection Process 2022

The selection of students for admission to the BTech programmes at LNM Institute of Information Technology will be done through the following procedures.

1. Regular Mode

• A merit list will be prepared by considering only the score obtained by the students in Paper 1 of the JEE Mains.
• Then the LNM Institute of Information Technology calls students for counselling and the seat allotment process.
• Students are not allowed to change their preferences for programmes/branches during the counselling process.
• Students will be allocated seats according to the preferences given by them in the online application form z availability of seats and their position on the merit list.

1. DASA Mode

• Under this, a separate merit list will be prepared for students applying through SAT score and the score of JEE Mains Paper 1.

BTech admissions to students under DASA mode will be open for the candidates of the following categories.

• Foreign Nationals/Overseas Citizens of India - Candidates are required to have a valid passport issued by a foreign country.
• Non-resident Indian - Candidates should have finished their Class XI or XII or its equivalent from outside India.
• Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf - Students must have passed their Class XI/XII or its equivalent from a gulf country.

1. Direct Mode

• Only the toppers of each board who have filled out the application form for BTech admissions at LNMIIT and meet the eligibility requirements will get a branch of their choice.
• An internal committee of the LNMIIT will consider the rest of the applications received under this and look into the allocation of the number of available seats to the students.

1. Lateral Entry

• Allocation of seats to the students under this mode will be done online.
• A merit list will be prepared based on the score secured by the candidates in Paper 1 of the JEE Mains for the students who meet the said eligibility requirements.
• Seats will be allocated to the students based on the branch preference and merit list.
• Students need not report physically to the LNMIIT campus for seat allotment.
• The results of seat allotment will be informed to the students via SMS and Email.

LNMIIT BTech Eligibility Criteria 2022

The eligibility requirements for different modes of BTech admissions at LNMIIT are given below.

Regular Mode

• Candidates must be citizens of India.
• Candidates must have appeared for one or more sessions of JEE Mains.
• Students must have passed Class XII or its equivalent with an aggregate of at least 60% marks. Students appearing for the exams of Class XII can also apply.
• Students should have secured an aggregate of at least 60% marks in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.
• Also, the applicants must have passed Class X with an aggregate of at least 60% marks or equivalent grade.

Direct Mode

• Top 10 students in Class XII exam from Merit List of Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education provided that the official merit list regarding such ranks is published, or
• Top 2 students in Class XII examinations from all those Central and State recognized boards in India who publish merit lists indicating ranks.
• Students must have passed Class XII with an aggregate of 60% marks and 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry when taken together.
• Students must have completed their Class X with an aggregate of at least 60% marks.

DASA Mode

• Students should have secured a minimum aggregate of 1040 out of 1600 in SAT conducted by College Board, USA.
• Students must have obtained an aggregate of a minimum 90 percentile in Paper 1 of JEE Mains conducted by the NTA.
• Students should have obtained an aggregate of at least 60% marks in Class XII or equivalent from a Board recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
• Students must have secured an aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
• Students must have passed Class X with an aggregate of at least 60% marks or equivalent grade from a Board recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Lateral Entry

• Candidates must be pursuing BE/BTech first year (second semester) from a recognized institute or university.
• Candidates should have appeared in Paper 1 of JEE Mains 2021 conducted by the NTA and should have obtained a score greater than or equal to the LNMIIT cutoff for admission to the programme which they are seeking.
• Candidates must have completed Class XII with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one from Computer Science/Chemistry/Information Technology/Electronics/Biology/Biotechnology/Informatics Practices/Technical Vocational Subject.
• Candidates must have secured an aggregate of at least 60% marks or equivalent grade in Class X.

• An amount of Rs. 50,00/- (25,000/- per semester) will be offered for academically bright girl students with an 8.5 CGPA or above.
