Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi research university and engineering institute is located in Delhi and is one of the oldest IITs in India. It was established in 1961 by Professor Humayun Kabir, Minister of Scientific Research and Cultural Affairs. The IIT Delhi received the status of Institution of Eminence (IoE) by the Government of India in 2018 which granted almost-full autonomy. - Candidates with a valid CAT score can fill out the application form for MBA admission at IIT Delhi.
- They will be short-listed for the personal interview based on their score in the CAT, Academics, Gender Diversity and Work Experience.

MBA (Executive)
- Candidates for the MBA (Executive) programme have to apply online by visiting the official website of IIT Delhi.
- They will be short-listed for the interview based on the number of applications received and by analysing various parameters.
- The final selection of candidates will be done after the completion of the interview and a list of short-listed candidates will be made available on the official website.
Foreign/NRI Students
- Foreign or NRI Students who have a valid CAT/GMAT or GRE score can apply for admission at IIT Delhi for the MBA programme.
- They will be short-listed for the interview based on the criteria given below.

IIT Delhi MBA Eligibility 2022
Candidates should have the following qualifications to become eligible for applying for MBA programmes at IIT Delhi.
MBA
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a recognized institute or university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). The Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification acquired by the candidates should entail 3 years of education after higher secondary education 10+2 or equivalent.
- Also, candidates are required to have a valid score to become eligible for applying for admission to MBA programmes at IIT Delhi.
MBA Telecom
- Candidates should have passed Bachelor's Degree in any branch of Engineering/Architecture/Technology/Pharmacy/Agriculture/B.Sc Agricultural Engineering (4 years after 10+2), or
- Bachelor's degree in any branch of Chemical/Physical/Mathematical Sciences like Chemistry, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Electronic Science, Computer Application, Operations Research, Environmental Science, Computational/Information Science, Agriculture or Bachelor's Degree in Economics/Commerce, CA/ICWA.
- Along with educational qualifications, candidates must have a valid CAT score.
Executive MBA
- Candidates must have passed a first-class degree or equivalent Bachelor's Degree in any branch of Technology/Engineering or Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Statistics, Economics, Commerce, Computer Application, or Operation Research.
- Also, candidates should have a minimum of 2-years of post-qualifying work experience as on 1st August 2022.
Foreign Students
- For foreign students, the educational qualifications are the same as above according to the programme they have chosen. However, they need to have a valid GMAT score.
Common for All
- Candidates have to secure an aggregate of at least 60% marks or a 6.00 CGPA on a scale of 10 points. 5% relaxation in the aggregate score (55% or 5.5 CGPA) is provided for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
- Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification examinations can also apply. If selected, these candidates will be admitted provisionally and the seat gets confirmed if they submit the essential certificates on the said date.
