Career Development Cell

• The Career Development Cell of the PDPU facilitates the process of placements for graduate and postgraduate students of the University.
• It collaborates with prominent organizations in setting up an internship and training programme for the students.

1. Rural Internship

• As cities are getting saturated rapidly in many ways, the administrative machinery has the responsibility to focus on rural areas for development.
• In this case, it has become mandatory to understand rural life and its demography.
• So, the School of Petroleum Technology of PDPU has introduced Summer Rural Internship (SIP) as a course in BTech Petroleum Engineering for the students of first year.

• In this, second year students of BTech Petroleum Engineering are scheduled to visit various industries across the country with an objective to get familiar with Industry Operations in Oil and Gas Industry including production, drilling, transportation, exploration, distribution and research activities.
