SVKM's NMIMS was established in 1981 in Mumbai. It is a well-known private (deemed to be a university) located in Mumbai. The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India has awarded the status of Category I University to the NMIMS. Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering (MPSTME) is a constituent school of SVKM's NMIMS and was established in 2006. NMIMS BTech Application Process 2022

Candidates can apply for BTech admissions at NMIMS by following the steps given below.

BTech/MBA BTech Through NMIMS CET

The steps involved in applying for admission to the BTech/MBA Tech are given below.

Step 1 - Registration

• Candidates should go through the official website of the NMIMS.
• Then, candidates should click on the "Apply Now" available on the homepage for registration and create an account for themselves.
• Candidates will receive registration numbers to fill out the application form for the NMIMS CET.

Step 2 - Selection

• Candidates have to select the test - NMIMS CET, school and programme preference based on their eligibility.
• Candidates are allowed to choose multiple test categories, multiple schools and multiple programme preferences.

Step 3 - Pay the Application Fee

• The fee for the NMIMS registration depends on the number of schools selected for every test category by the candidates.
• Only the students who complete the fee payment process can schedule their exam.
• Candidates are allowed to choose 1 main and 2 retakes for each exam category.

Step 4 - Select Test Centre/Test Date

• Candidates will get the option to choose the test centre and test date after a successful registration.
• The availability of the test centres or the test date will be subject to the capacity of the test centre.

6-Year BTech After Class 10

• Candidates should go to www.nmims.eduhttp://www.nmims.edu for completing the online registration.
• The online registration fee for the 6-year BTech programmes at NMIMS is Rs. 1,000/-.
• Candidates should select their preferences carefully at the time of registration. The same will be considered for the merit process and change will not be entertained later.
• Stream/internal transfer will not be entertained under any circumstances.

BTech/MBA Tech (Non-CET)

• Candidates can register for the BTech/MBA Tech programmes on the official website by paying a registration fee of Rs. 2,000/-.

NMIMS BTech Selection Process 2022

The selection of students for BTech programmes at NMIMS is given below.

BTech/MBA Tech Through NMIMS CET

• The merit list for the BTech admissions at NMIMS will be prepared by considering the performance of the candidates in the NMIMS CET.
• The NMIMS's decision will be final in this regard.
• Candidates will be invited for BTech admissions counselling at the NMIMS according to their merit.
• According to their merit, choice and the availability of the seats, students will be given admission to the various specializations.

NMIMS CET

• NMIMS CET is conducted to provide admissions to the students for the BTech programmes.
• The NMIMS CET contains 5 major sections and a total of 120 questions.

BTech/MBA Tech (Non-CET)

• For students of 10+2 or equivalent, a merit list will be prepared based on the performance of candidates in the 10+2.
• For Diploma candidates, merit lists will be prepared based on the performance of candidates in the Diploma.
• Based on the merit list, students will be called for the counselling session in Mumbai.
• According to the merit, and availability of seats, students will be provided admission to the various specializations.

6-Year BTech After Class X

The selection of students for the 6-year BTech programme at NMIMS involves the following stages.

• The merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidate in 9^th or equivalent and the preferences given by the candidates in the registration form.
• Candidates can verify their merit results on the NMIMS website according to the important dates specified by the NMIMS.
• If a student enters wrong marks in the registration form then they will be disqualified for further admission process at the institute.
• If at any stage, it is found that Class IX/X marks given by the students in the application form are different from the obtained then the admission allocated for the students will be cancelled and the fee will be forfeited.
• The institute's decision will be final in this regard and no enquiries will be entertained.

NMIMS BTech Fee Structure

The total fee for BTech Computer Engineering is Rs. 3,35,000/-. Detailed information about the BTech, MBA Tech and other courses fee is provided below.

BTech/MBA Tech Through CET and BTech/MBA (Non-CET)

Note

The total fee for 6-year Integrated BTech after Class X is Rs. 2,02,000/- per annum.

NMIMS BTech Eligibility Criteria 2022

The eligibility requirements that candidates have to meet for applying for BTech programmes at NMIMS are given below.

BTech/MBA Tech Through NMIMS CET and BTech/MBA (Non-CET)

• Candidates must have passed Class XII with Science or Vocational Science with an aggregate of at least 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/Vocational Subject for Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Indore campuses and 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/Vocational Subject for Shirpur campus, Or
• Students who have completed Diploma Engineering with an aggregate of 50% marks are also eligible to apply.

6-Year BTech After 10

All the candidates must have passed Class X or its equivalent by securing an aggregate of at least 70% marks in subjects Mathematics and General Science or Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.

For Students of Maharashtra State Board

• Candidates who have passed Mathematics (Code 71 for Candidates of Maharashtra State Board) and Science and Technology (Code 72 for Maharashtra State Board Candidates) are eligible for BTech 6-year admissions at NMIMS.

For ICSE/IGCSE/CBSE

• The score obtained by the students in the General Science/Physics and Chemistry with Mathematics subject marks will be considered in aggregate marks.
• Other vocational subjects or any combination will not be considered in aggregate.
