NMIMS MBA Application Process 2022

The application process for almost all MBA programmes is similar. However, for some programmes, NMAT registration is not essential. The steps involved in the application process for the different MBA programmes at NMIMS, Mumbai are given below.

Step 1 - Registration at NMAT by GMAC

• Go to the official website - www.nmat.orghttp://www.nmat.org to register yourself and complete the registration process by paying the registration fee online.
• You must complete the NMAT by GMAC test registration before filling up the application form for NMIMS.

Step 2 - Registration at NMIMS

• Go to the official website - www.nmims.eduhttp://www.nmims.edu and enter your NMAT by GMAC registration number.
• Complete the application process for different MBA programmes by paying the registration fee. The fee is non-refundable.
• Your NMAT scores will be used for the further selection process.

NMIMS MBA Selection Process 2022

The selection process for different MBA programmes at NMIMS (Deemed University), Mumbai is given below.

MBA (Law)

• Candidates will be selected through a written test conducted for MBA (Law) by NMIMS and a Personal Interview, or
• Candidates with a GMAT score of 600 or more (Score of Last 5 Years) and Personal Interview.
• Candidates with an NMAT score of 200 and above and Personal Interview.

MBA (Pharmaceutical Management)

• Selection of candidates for this programme will be done based on NMAT by GMAC, Pharma Aptitude Test and GDPI.

MBA (Real Estate Management)

• Candidates will be selected for the programme through a Written Test followed by a Personal Interview.
• The merit list will be prepared by considering the score obtained by the candidates in the Written Test and Personal Interview.

MBA (Health Care Management)

• The merit list for this programme will be prepared by conducting the Group Discussion and the Personal Interview.

Other Programmes

The selection process for all other programmes other than those mentioned above is given below.

• The NMAT by GMAC is mandatory to participate in the admission process of the NMIMS, Mumbai.
• Candidates will be short-listed for further rounds based on their performance in the NMAT.
• Psychometric Test or Written Ability Test and Personal Interview will be conducted for the short-listed candidates. The details of these will be informed to the candidates.
• Weightage will be given to candidates with good academic performance and work experience.
• The final merit list will be prepared by taking academic performance, work experience, marks obtained in NMAT, WAT and Personal Interview into consideration.

NMAT

• The NMAT by GMAC is an online computer-based test conducted at home and at test centres as well.
• Candidates have to register for the exam during the availability of the application to get an admit card for writing the test.

NMIMS MBA Eligibility Criteria 2022

The eligibility criteria for various specializations of management programmes are given below.

MBA and MBA (HR)

• Candidates must have passed Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 50% marks.

MBA (Pharmaceutical Management)

• Candidates must have passed Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, MBBS, BDS, BHMS, Biotechnology, Microbiology, and BAMS with an aggregate of at least 50% marks from a recognized university or institute.
• Students with B.E or B. Tech in Biotechnology or Biomedical are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates working in Pharmaceutical Companies, as well as freshers, can apply.

MBA (Law)

• Candidates should have passed L.L.B/B.A L.L.B/B.B.A L.L.B/B.Sc L.L.B/L.L.M degree from a recognized university or institute with an aggregate of 50% marks.
• Candidates studying in their final year are also eligible to apply. They will be admitted provisionally if selected and the seat gets confirmed after the submission of all the essential documents.
• Candidates who have passed the final examination conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Chartered Accountants of India, and Institute of Cost Accountants of India are also eligible.
• Candidates who have done their graduation in distance or as a part-time course from a recognized university or institute are also eligible. They have to register according to the UGC guidelines.

MBA (Real Estate Management)

• Candidates must have passed Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Civil/Architecture from a recognized university with 2 years of work experience in Real Estate.
• Candidates who have appeared or appearing for the final year examinations can also apply. Their admission will be confirmed on selection if they provide all the relevant documents.
• Candidates who have completed their Under-Graduation from overseas universities/boards should submit an AIU equivalence certificate to confirm their eligibility for the programme.

MBA (Health Care Management)

• Candidates must have passed Graduation in Medicine or allied discipline such as MBBS, BHMS, BDS, BAMS, Biomedical, Food Nutrition and Dietetics, Medical Technology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemicals Technology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, Bioengineering and Microbiology.
• Also, candidates who have passed Graduation in any other stream with a minimum of 2 years of healthcare sector experience can apply.

MBA (Business Analytics)

• Candidates should have passed Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Commerce or Economics with an aggregate of at least 55% marks. Having relevant industrial experience will be an advantage.

MBA (Digital Transformation)

• Candidates must have passed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering of any discipline, B.Sc (IT/Computer Science), B.Sc (Electronics), B.Sc(Mathematics/Physics) or MCA with an aggregate of a minimum of 55% marks + 2 years of industrial experience is desirable.
• Any other graduate who has studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject till graduation is also eligible to apply.

MBA (Entrepreneurship) and MBA (Entrepreneurship and Family Business)

• Candidates must have passed Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with an aggregate of 50% marks. Candidates who have obtained their degree through part-time or distance learning can apply as per the UGC guidelines.

Dual Degree in MBA Decision Sciences, Analytics With MS in Business Analytics and Information Management

• Candidates should have passed Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 55% marks from a recognized university or institute.
• Candidates must have Mathematics as one of the subjects at the pre-university level (10+2) or equivalent.
• Candidates should secure a TOEFL score of 93 with minimum subsections scores. IELTS score of 7.0 or higher with a minimum subsections score will also be accepted.

• NMIMS does not require a language score and it is essential for Purdue University. Candidates should have the English test score handy if they advance to the Purdue selection process.
