Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) is a State Technological University established by the Act of Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha in 1998 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It was named after the former and the youngest Prime Minister of India, Shri Rajiv Gandhi. Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) is accredited by NAAC and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Its affiliated institutes include 200 Engineering institutions, 5 Teaching institutions, 95 MCA institutions, 98 Pharmacy institutions, 85 Diploma institutions and 4 Architecture institutions.

RGPV BTech Application Process 2022

The application process for the RGPV BE/BTech admissions will be conducted online. Candidates should register for the DTE MP Counselling to secure admission to BE/BTech programmes at the University.

• Go through the official website of the counselling and select your course and register for the programme.
• During registration, you have to verify your mobile number or email ID by providing the OTP sent to your registered email ID and mobile number.
• Log in with your email ID and password and fill out the application form by entering all the mandatory information.
• Now, you have to upload your passport-size photograph and a scanned copy of the marksheet of the qualifying exam.
• After entering all the information and uploading the necessary documents, you should proceed towards fee payment and complete the fee payment online.

RGPV BTech Selection Process 2022

The selection of students for the BE/BTech programme will be done in the following way.

• Students wishing to secure admission to the BE/BTech programmes at RGPV have to appear and secure a valid score in the AIEEE/JEE Mains or they can apply for counselling based on their score in the qualifying exam.
• The admissions to the BE/BTech programmes will be allocated through the Centralized Counselling conducted by the University and the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
• Candidates will be allocated seats in the BE/BTech programmes based on the counselling conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh.

RGPV BTech Fee Structure

The tuition fee for the BTech programmes at RGPV for General candidates is Rs. 22,300/- per year. Detailed information regarding the BE/BTech programme fee is given below. It is the same for the BTech Lateral Entry programmes as well.

Note

• The tuition fee for the BTech Computer Science and Business Systems offered by the School of Information Technology of RGPV is Rs. 20,000/- per semester.

RGPV BTech Eligibility Criteria 2022

The eligibility requirements that candidates should possess to become eligible for BE/BTech admissions at RGPV are given below.

BTech

• Candidates seeking admission to the BE/BTech programmes must have passed the Class XII exam of the 10+2 system from a recognized board or institute with Physics and Mathematics as the main subjects along with either Biology/Chemistry/Biotechnology/Technical Subject as the third one.
• Candidates should secure an aggregate of at least 45% marks in these subjects in their Class XII of the 10+2 system while students of SC/ST/OBC category can avail of 5% relaxation.

BTech (Lateral Entry)

• All the students wishing to seek admission to the 2^nd year BE/BTech programmes must have finished their three-year engineering diploma in the appropriate branch of Technology/Engineering from an institute or university recognized by the UGC/AICTE or from a foreign university recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with an aggregate of 45% marks, Or
• Candidates who have passed the BSc degree exam from a Government recognized university or institute and have passed Class XII with Mathematics as one of the subjects with an aggregate of at least 45% marks can also apply for BE/BTech Lateral Entry admissions at RGPV.
