Sharda University was established in 2009 in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. It is a private university and is a part of the Sharda Group of Institutions founded by PK Gupta in 1996. Candidates can apply for BTech admissions at Sharda University in 3 steps and the details are given below.
- Candidates have to fill out the application for BTech admissions with all the necessary information.
- After that, candidates should confirm their desired BTech programme/specialization and generate their system ID to proceed towards fee payment and complete the fee payment.
- Candidates will receive their Application Number on their registered mobile number and email ID.
Note
- Slot booking is applicable only for the SUAT exam and BTech admission aspiring candidates have to do it.
- Candidates seeking admission to the BTech programmes at Sharda University have to appear for the SUAT conducted by the University.
- Candidates should secure a good score in the SUAT to qualify for the Personal Interview and secure admission to their desired BTech programme.
- However, students who secure a rank below 3 lakhs in JEE and 50,000 below in UPSEE are exempted from giving the SUAT conducted by Sharda University.
SUAT
- Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT) is a computer-based test conducted by Sharda University to offer admissions to BTech and other programmes to eligible students.
- There will be a total of 30 questions from each section of the SUAT and the sections are different for different disciplines.
- Candidates should secure an aggregate of at least 35% marks to qualify for the SUAT exam of 100 marks.

The eligibility conditions that candidates should satisfy to become eligible for applying for BTech admissions at Sharda University are given below.
- All the students must have passed Matriculation with 60% marks, 10+2 or Senior Secondary Education with an aggregate of at least 70% marks & at least 60% marks in PCM, Computer Science/PCB for Biotechnology.
- There should not be any gap between Class X and Class XII.
- Candidates must secure an aggregate of at least 50% marks in Mathematics and should give the SUAT followed by the Personal Interview, or
- Candidates should secure a JEE All India Rank of up to 3 lakhs.
