Students of Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DAIICT) can undergo the following internships.

1. Research Internship

• It helps students in developing independent research skills. Faculty on campus act as mentors to the students.
• Some of the areas of research will be in various fields of Computer Science, Hash Chains, Natural Language Processing, Information Visualization, Electronics and Communication, etc.

1. Industrial Internship

• Students will be recruited as interns in various companies and they will be exposed to industrial practices which help them in gaining hands-on experience in industry projects.
• Students can understand the functioning of the company and apply their knowledge to the project.

1. Summer Internship

• Students of the final year have the freedom to pursue their summer internships in research or as interns in leading companies.
• Summer internships generally last for a period of 6 to 8 weeks.

1. Rural Internship

• The BTech curriculum of DAIICT mandates all the students to undertake a four-week rural internship to expose ICT students to the socio-economic realities of rural lives.
• It engages students in various projects associated with socio-economic development such as agriculture, environment and rural governance.
