CUSAT MBA Application Process 2022

Students need to visit the official website of the Cochin University of Science and Technology to apply for MBA admission by following the steps given below.

Step 1 - Registration

• Go through the official website of the CUSAT MBA - www.cusat.ac.inhttp://www.cusat.ac.in.
• Press the "New Candidate Registration" tab and fill in all the basic information in the prescribed field and click on the submit button.
• An activation link regarding the CUSAT MBA registration will be sent to you via mail.

Step 2 - Fill in Personal and Reservation Details

• Now, fill in all the personal information.
• Candidates who want to get "Special Reservation" need to press the check box and move to the right box through the select button.

Step 3 - Uploading of Photograph and Signature

• Upload a scanned copy of your recent passport-size photograph of size not more than 500 KB.
• Now, upload a scanned image of your signature to the CUSAT MBA application form. The size of it must not exceed 100 KB.

Step 4 - Course Selection

• You have to be very careful while selecting a course and enter it in the respective field provided.

Step 5 - Preview the Application Form and Pay the Fee

• Preview your MBA application form before submission and you can edit any information if you wish before submitting the CUSAT MBA application form.
• Pay the application fee for the CUSAT MBA programme online using a Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.

CUSAT MBA Selection Process 2022

Admission for the MBA programme at CUSAT is completed based on merit. The detailed steps in the admission process that candidates have to follow for securing admission at CUSAT for the MBA programme are given below.

• First, students need to appear and secure a valid score in the entrance examinations like CAT/CMAT/KMAT.
• Next, candidates have to register for the MBA programme at CUSAT by giving the aptitude test scores and the respective details as mandated in the notification.
• Then, the authorities of the CUSAT will shortlist the candidates for the Group Discussion and the Personal Interview based on the normalised scores on the aptitude test.
• Short-listed students will be called for the Group Discussion assessment which they have to attend with other students in small groups. They are also required to attend the Personal Interview conducted by the CUSAT.
• The CUSAT MBA final rank lists for admission will be prepared by considering the valid scores obtained by the students in the entrance examinations like CAT/KMAT/CMAT and their performance in the Group Discussion and the Personal Interview rounds of the MBA admission process.

• The normalisation process for the scores in the CAT/CMAT/KMAT will be decided by the Admission/University committee.

CUSAT MBA Fee Structure

CUSAT MBA Eligibility Criteria 2022

The eligibility criteria that candidates have to meet for applying for MBA admission at CUSAT are given below.

• All the students must have finished their Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute with an aggregate of at least 50% marks.
• Students of Kerala Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories can apply for MBA programmes at CUSAT if they secure minimum marks in the qualifying degree.
• SEBC students of the non-creamy layer can get a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying degree.
• Candidates should obtain a valid score in the CAT/KMAT/CMAT exams to become eligible for applying for MBA admission at CUSAT. The score obtained by the candidates in any examination after the end of the application process for the MBA programme at CUSAT will not be considered.

Note

• All those candidates who have obtained their Bachelor's Degree through Distance Education/Off Campus /Centre for Participatory Programme other than IGNOU must get their degrees approved by the CUSAT. They are required to submit the same at the time of the Group Discussion and the Personal Interview rounds of the CUSAT admission process. Failing this, students are not allowed to take part in the Group Discussion and the Personal Interview rounds.
