• Students of KIIT have received more than 5000 placement offers during 2022 placements at the campus. Out of 5000+ offers, 3200+ are single offers.
• Day One campus recruitment at KIIT this year has generated about 2000 job offers.

• The highest CTC offered to the students of KIIT during 2022 placements stood at 52 Lakhs Per Annum and was offered to the BTech students by YugaByte Software Pvt Ltd.

The highest CTC offered to the students of KIIT during 2022 has seen an increase of more than 70% from the previous year and was the highest among the highest CTCs offered till date. The trends of the highest CTCs offered to the KIIT students for the past 6 years are provided below.

• More than 400 top companies have visited the campus of the KIIT to hire eligible students for various roles in their companies.
• 400+ companies have offered more than 5000 job offers for the able students during 2022 campus placements.
• During 2021 placements, 300+ companies visited the campus of KSOT, 125+ companies visited the KSOM campus, 50 law firms came to KIIT Law School and 24 companies came to KSRM of KIIT for hiring students.

Number of Students Placed

• The KIIT has been consistently maintaining a placement percentage of 90 for many years.
• 92% of students from the KIIT School of Technology have been placed during 2022 placements at the KIIT campus.
• During 2021 placements, 90% of students across the schools KSOT, KSOM, KSBT, KSRM and KSL have been placed successfully.

Placement Assistance

• The Career Advisory and Augmentation Services (CAAS) is a department of KIIT that works towards moulding the careers of students from Engineering to Management to Law.
• It takes care of training students for their placements in the areas of soft skills, aptitude, etc.
• It also provides training to the students for higher education such as GRE, MBA, etc.
• The institute has also been in the process of training students for CSAT, Banking and PSU tests.
• The CAAS has an expert team who has more than 10 years of experience in respective fields and it strives to help students in overcoming adversities in life.

Internships

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) offers decent internship opportunities for its students. The details of BTech and MBA summer internships are provided below.

1. BTech

• The institute has generated more than 1500 paid internship opportunities @ Campus with a stipend of 14k per month ending up to PPOs to more than 850 students.
• 2200 students of KSOT offered summer internships under the 'Capstone Project ' by a FinTech company HighRadius which collaborated with KIIT.

1. MBA

The information regarding MBA summer internships is provided below.

• At the end of the first year of the MBA programme, students will undergo a 2 months internship programme in a reputed corporate house where they have to work on a live project under the guidance of two mentors.
• KIIT strives to ensure that most projects are meaningful and have tangible value for the organization.
• Some key features of this internship programme are
  • It carries 8 credits or the equivalent of four full semester courses.
  • It is usually done in May and June.
  • The assignments may range from financial analysis to financial product designing and from making HR policy documents to active hiring.
