Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) previously known as KIIT University is a private deemed university established in 1992 by Achyuta Samanta in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It started its journey as an Industrial Training Institute in 1992. The Government of India's MHRD declared it as a deemed university in 2004 and recognized it as the "Institute of Eminence '' in 2019. National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has granted it Tier-I accreditation and has been ranked as the best private university in self-financing and innovation by ARIIA in 2021.

KIIT BTech Application Process 2022

Candidates can submit an application form for the KIITEE conducted for giving admissions to the BTech programmes at KIIT by following the steps given below.

• Go through the official website of the KIIT and press the button to apply online.
• Enter your information such as name, e-mail ID, mobile number, etc and provide the captcha and click on the submit button.
• You have to select the maximum number of programmes you wish to apply to and press the submit tab and confirm to confirm the submission of the application form for the selected course.
• Now, read the instructions thoroughly and press "Apply Online".
• Enter personal, academic and address details and move on to the next page and upload the mandatory documents in the specified format.
• Lastly, submit the application form and download it for future reference.

KIIT BTech Selection Process 2022

Admission to the BTech programmes at KIIT involves the following stages.

• Filling out the KIITEE application before the last date for application form submission through the official website of the KIIT.
• Uploading of essential documents such as photographs, signatures and mark sheets.
• Appearing for the KIITEE entrance exam.
• Appearing for the counselling conducted after KIITEE to secure admission for the BTech programme.

KIITEE

• KIITEE is an online entrance test conducted by the KIIT for offering admission to various programmes students.
• The KIITEE exam for BTech contains a total of 120 questions from 3 sections such Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.

KIIT BTech Fee Structure

• The total fee for all the BTech programmes at the KIIT including the BTech in Computer Science and Engineering is Rs. 1,75,000/- per semester.
• The total fee per semester for a Biotechnology Dual Degree (BTech & MTech) at KIIT is also Rs. 1,75,000/-.
• Apart from the fee mentioned above, candidates are also required to pay an amount of Rs. 75,000/- at the time of admission for Registration, Counselling, Laptop and Admission Kit.

Hostel Fee

• Students have to pay an amount of Rs. Rs. 40,000/- per semester for Non-Ac two bedded hostel while it is Rs. 60,000/- for AC hostel.
• Students can take a single bedded AC room that costs around Rs. 65,000/- per semester.
• Students who wish to avail of premium facilities like attached washrooms have to pay an extra amount of Rs. 10,000/- per semester.

KIIT BTech Eligibility Criteria 2022

Candidates applying for BTech programme admissions at KIIT have to fulfil the following eligibility requirements.

BTech

• Candidates who have passed Class XII or 10+2 exams in 2020, and 2021 or appearing in 2022 are eligible to apply for BTech programmes.
• Candidates must have studied in regular full-time formal education in their college or schooling.
• Candidates should have passed 10+2 or Class XII with an aggregate of at least 60% marks in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics when taken together.
• For BTech and MTech (Dual Degree) Biotechnology, candidates should have passed 10+2 with an aggregate of at least 60% marks in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics/Biology when taken together.
• Candidates should have been born on or after 1^st July 2001 to become eligible for BTech admissions at KIIT.

BTech (Lateral Entry)

• Candidates should have passed a three-year Diploma in Engineering in relevant branches with an aggregate of at least 60% marks from the State Council of Technical Education of Any State.
