About
Uttaranchal University located in Dehradun was established under the Shri Shushila Devi education foundation in the year 2013. It is formerly known as the Law College Dehradun. The University aims to provide the best management education to its students and equips them with knowledge of the corporate world. BBA here is a 3 years programme spread across 6 semesters. It provides a few specializations in BBA, such as in HR, Banking and Finance, Digital Marketing, and Tourism and Event Management. Admissions are made on the basis of the candidate’s merit in the previous qualifying examinations and a PI/GD round conducted later.

Application Process
The application process of the Uttaranchal University for BBA are as follows:
Step 1: Go to the official website. See: https://uttaranchaluniversity.ac.in/
Step 2: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ option on the official website, which will redirect you to the registration portal. See: https://uttaranchaluniversity.ac.in/online-registration/
Step 3: Fill out all the information asked in the registration form such as name, phone number, email id, etc.
Step 4: A confirmation email will be sent to the email id provided in the previous step along with the registration activation link. This activation link will redirect you to a login page where you have to fill out all the academic details and upload the required documents.
The documents required are as follows:
- Photocopy of the marksheet of 10th and 12th board examination or an equivalent
- Domicile certificate
- Transfer Certificate
- Passport size photo
- Aadhar card photocopy
Step 5: Pay the application fee of Rs. 1,250 (Rs. 50 extra will be charged as a processing fee in online) through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI. After the payment, the candidate will receive a confirmation email and thus the registration is complete.

Admission Procedure/Selection Process
Candidates need to follow the following steps to take admission at the Uttaranchal University:
Step 1: After the successful application procedure, the University authorities will review the marks and other documents sent by the candidate.
Step 2: On clearing the merit-based selection round, candidates are called upon for personal interviews and group discussion rounds.
Step 3: If the candidate clears this interview stage, then he/she will get admission at the Uttaranchal University, and on clearing the admission fee along with the first-semester fee, candidates will be a member of the Uttaranchal family.

Reserved Seats
- Out of the total intake of students, 40% of seats are allotted to the candidates belonging from Uttarakhand under the State Quota. The remaining is filled by the students from All India. In case some seats remain vacant in the State Quota, they will be filled by the students from All India.

Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility Criteria at Uttaranchal University for pursuing BBA are as follows:
- Candidates must pass the 10+2 examination from any recognised stream of study
- Candidates must have a minimum score of 45% in their 12th examination or in any such equivalent. Candidates belonging to SC/ST are required to have a minimum of 40% marks.

- Uttarakhand State Domicile Scholarship: Candidates belonging to the Uttarakhand Domicile can avail of a 26% reduction on their tuition through this scholarship. To get this scholarship candidate must have a valid Domicile Certificate (Original) of the Uttarakhand State.
- Hills States Domicile Scholarship: Candidates belonging from the hill states of India can avail of this scholarship where the University offers a 26% reduction of tuition fee. Such hill states include Jammu and Kashmir, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Himachal Pradesh, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, etc.
- Sushila Devi Scholarship for Girls: The University offers a 5% reduction on the tuition fee for girl students, and this can be availed for the entire duration of the programme. The amount will be the same for both Uttarakhand and All India students.
- Wards of Defence Personnel: Candidates whose parents are in the defence (army/CRPF/Para Military, etc.) will receive 5% discount on their tuition fee which can be availed for the entire duration of the programme. To claim this, candidates must carry a valid certificate of their mother/father.
- Alumni and Sibling Scholarship: Candidates whose sibling has been an alumnus or is currently studying at the University will get a 10% discount on their tuition fee for the first year only. The documents required are, Candidate’s Aadhar card/valid photo id proof and Marksheet/Certificate issued to the sibling bearing the names of the parents.
