About the Institute

Subharti University aims to develop the highest standard programs for producing self-confident and reliant professionals who are responsible and have the necessary skills for the constantly changing needs of society. Subharti college of management and commerce offers two years MBA program that helps students get a step further in their education. The aim is on imparting education alongside human values.

Admission Procedure

The University offers various options with regard to completing the admission procedure. The options are given below:

First Option – Downloading the application form

• The candidates are required to download the application form and get the printout for the same.
• After successfully filling out the form the candidates need to send it along with a demand draft of INR 1500/- that is made in favour of 'Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, payable at Meerut: Central Admission Cell. The address to which this needs to be sent is –

• After successfully filling out the application form, the candidate can submit it at the above-mentioned address.

The essential documents needed at the time of provisional admission/registration are:

• Class 10^th and class 12^th mark sheets in original and photocopy (self-attested)
• In case the result for boards has been declared and uploaded on the official site however the original mark sheet has not been released yet then a self-attested computerized mark sheet attained from the official site shall be accepted.
• Graduation mark sheet in original as well as a photocopy (self-attested).
• Self-attested Aadhar card
• Four passport-size photographs

The total program fees for the 2 years MBA program are 2,41,000/-

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the MBA program are given below:

• The interested candidates are required to attain at least forty-five per cent in graduation.
• The candidates get admission based on SNET, that is, Subharti University Entrance Test or on the merits basis on clearing the exam, spot test as well as interview.
• The University offers admission to the general category – Indian Nationals, NRI/Foreign National Category – Foreign Nationals, Indian Nationals sponsored by NRIs and NRIs according to the government's policy.

It should be noted that the admission for students from SC/OBC/ST category shall be based on the law at the time of admission and the eligibility fixed by the University.

It should be noted that the University has the right to alter the curriculum, structure, course, admission rules, exams, fee details, scholarships etcetera.

Placements

The top recruiters who participate in the placement process can include companies such as Paytm, Genpact, Convergys, HT Media and Just Dial. According to the 2017-2018 batch statistics, about 90 per cent of the students got placement opportunities.

The organizations that visit the campus for placement are usually divided into the given categories:

• A+ Category: CTC 7.01 Lac up to 10.0 LPA
• A Category: CTC 5.01 Lac up to 07.0 LPA
• B Category: CTC 3.01 Lac up to 05.0 LPA
• C Category: CTC 1.00 Lac up to 03.0 LPA

Scholarships

In the table given below, the scholarship details for the MBA program are mentioned:

The criteria for attaining the scholarship are as follows:

• Only those candidates who not availing of some other scholarship from some private agencies/government agencies can avail of the University scholarship.
• Even if a student is qualified for more than one scholarship as declared by the University, the candidate can avail of only one type of scholarship whichever is higher.
• The applicability of the scholarship is solely for the current academic year provided the candidate submitted the fee timely and applies for the scholarship in a span of 2 months from the last date of admission as the University announces.
• If the scholarship has been granted, it shall be given through the banking channel.
• In case a candidate aspires to attain a scholarship in the upcoming years then one needs to apply afresh on the scholarship Format – II, provided to the student:
• In the first attempt first division has been attained.
• There has not been any involvement in an act of indiscipline.
• There are no pending dues
• The attendance criteria are fulfilled as per the rules

It should be noted that if a student's performance has decreased in the next year and the student has applied for the scholarship then the percentage of scholarship can also decrease accordingly.

A hundred per cent scholarship on caution money and yearly course fee will be provided to the children of martyrs of Indian Defence Services including the Indian coast guard (except for dental, PhD, medical and nursing courses).

The following students can avail of an additional 5 per cent scholarship irrespective of their percentage in qualifying exams:

• Existing/alumni students
• A first relative of Indian defence services including the Indian coast guard
• Girl students
• Differently abled students (physically challenged)
• At the max ten per cent scholarship shall be given when a student is entitled to more than 2 scholarship categories
• Ten per cent more scholarships shall be provided to Buddhist students. In case a student belongs to any of the above-mentioned four categories than another five per cent shall be given.

Further, the faculty's family and staff are entitled to scholarships according to the University rules at that time. In case of admission withdrawal prior to completing the course, if the scholarship has been granted then it will be taken back.

UP Scholarship Policy

It should be noted that according to the Department of Social Justice Samaj Kalyan Vibhag, the students whose parents have a yearly income of fewer than 2 lakhs and who are backward class of OBC/ST/SC category can apply for UP online scholarship.
