Important Instructions

• Candidates have to fill out the online application form to get admission to MBA programmes offered by the SRMIST.
• Admission for the MBA programme is based on qualifying examinations and competitive exams whichever is applicable.
• The exam fee is Rs. 1,200/-. If students want to take the SRMJEEM exam more than once, candidates are required to pay several Rs. 600/- for each phase.
• The Email ID submitted while registering for the MBA programme will be used for all correspondence till the completion of the admission process.
• Candidates have to keep the following documents handy.
  • Photograph - The size of it should be 5 MB with 200 × 230 pixels.
  • Signature - The size of it should be 5 MB with 140 × 60 pixels.
  • Also, have details of Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.
• Candidates can use SRM Query System Management rather than emailing to get a fast response.

SRM MBA Selection Process 2022

The selection of candidates for the MBA programme at SRMIST involves the following steps.

1. Application Submission

• All interested candidates have to visit the SRMIST website to the submission of the application form.

1. Short-listing

• Preliminary screening will be done after the submission of the application forms for the MBA programme.
• Eligibility, entrance exam scores and other merits will be checked for short-listing candidates for further rounds.
• The entrance exams can be nationally accepted tests like CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT or SRMJEE-M.

1. Preliminary Admission Process

• E-counselling will be conducted for the candidates shortlisted through SRMJEEM while Online Counseling will be carried out for students with CAT, XAT, NMAT, MAT or TANCET scores.
• Candidates have to provide supporting documents such as TC, Aadhaar Card, and Mark Sheets of Class X, XII and Graduation.
• The Admission Office will issue a Provisional Allotment Letter (PAL) after verification based on the eligibility and performance in GD and the Interview.
• Candidates have to pay requisite fees such as tuition, and hostel (if applicable).

1. Admission Confirmation

• Finally, an Admission Confirmation Letter will be issued to the eligible students.
• Registration number and ID card will be generated.

SRMJEEM

• SRM Joint Entrance Examination - The management examination is conducted for 300 marks.
• It contains 100 marks and is conducted for 2.5 Hours.
• Every correct answer carries 3 marks and there is no score reduction for incorrect answers.

SRM MBA Eligibility Criteria 2022

All the candidates should meet the following requirements to become eligible for applying for MBA admission at SRM.

• All the candidates should have finished their Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a Government recognized university or institute.
• Also, students should have appeared for any one of the entrance tests such as XAT, CAT, TANCET, GMAT, NMAT, MAT, CMAT or SRMJEE-M.
• Candidates with 2 to 3 years of work experience at the time of applying for the college of management or SRMIST at Kattankulathur will be given special consideration.
