IIIT Delhi BTech Application Process 2022
The application process for different BTech programmes at IIIT Delhi is different and the details are given below.
- Candidates applying for BTech admissions at IIIT Delhi through Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) using the score obtained by them in JEE Mains have to apply for admissions through the JAC Portal - (www.jacdelhi.nic.inhttp://www.jacdelhi.nic.in).
- Candidates applying for some seats of BTech (CSD) through rank in the UCEED exam and BTech (CSSS) through marks in Class XII should apply for them through the official website of the IIIT Delhi - https://www.iiitd.ac.in/admission/.
- Candidates who wish to apply for supernumerary seats in the BTech programmes at IIIT Delhi should apply through respective links available on the official website of IIIT Delhi.
IIIT Delhi BTech Selection Process 2022
The detailed admission process for the BTech programmes at IIIT Delhi is given below.
- Through JAC
- For admissions to BTech programmes through JAC, candidates' scores in the Paper 1 of the JEE Mains will be considered.
- Bonus points if any obtained by the candidate will also be considered.
- The merit list for BTech admissions will be prepared based on the marks in the above two.
- Candidates with a good rank in JEE Mains conducted by the NTA will be given preference in case of a tie.
- Through UCEED Rank for Some Seats of BTech (CSD)
- The merit list under this category will be prepared based on the rank secured by students in the UCEED Rank.
- Candidates who have secured a good score in Class XII will be given preference in case of a tie. If ties still exist, candidates who have a high score in Mathematics will be preferred.
- Through Score in Class XII for Some Seats of BTech (CSSS)
- The total score obtained by the candidates in the best five subjects including Mathematics in Class XII will be converted to a base of 100.
- Bonus points, if any secured by the candidates will also be considered.
- The merit list for some seats of BTech (CSSS) admissions will be prepared based on the above two.
- In case of a tie, students with a high score in Mathematics will be given preference. If ties still exist then students of higher age will be given preference.

- Students will be admitted to BTech programmes under this category through the JAC process.
Business Blaster Scheme
- Admission to the supernumerary seats of the BTech programmes at IIIT Delhi will be provided to the position holders of the Business Blaster Programme of the Delhi Government.
IIIT Delhi BTech Fee Structure
- The tuition fee for the BTech programmes (BTech Computer Science and Engineering) at IIIT Delhi is Rs. 4,25,000/- per annum.
- The tuition fee for the subsequent years at the institute may increase by 10% to 15% per annum.
- In addition to the tuition fee, there is a one-time refundable fee of Rs. 10,000/- and a non-refundable alumni fee of Rs. 2,000/-.
Hostel Fee
- Hostel accommodation at IIIT Delhi is optional and will be given to a limited number of students based on availability.
- The hostel fee at IIIT Delhi is Rs. 34,000/- per semester for a double vacancy and Rs. 45,000/- per semester for a single vacancy.
- The hostel fee of IIIT Delhi may go up to 5% to 10% every year and mess charges will be Rs. 3,300/- per month.
