Alliance University MBA Selection process

The selection process for the MBA course includes:

About AMAT

AMAT is an aptitude test conducted by the Alliance University and it is a gateway for admission into the university. It is conducted offline by the university and its duration is 1 hour. It takes place twice a year. The syllabus contains Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge, General English, Comprehension and Conceptual sections. The application fees for the test is INR 1000/- for Indian nationals, INR 2000/- for NRI and SAARC citizens and USD $50 for foreign nationals.

AMAT is compulsory for any candidate who has not given any of the above-mentioned national exams.

Fee Structure

The fees structure varies for Indian citizens and foreign nationals. The registration fees is divided into two heads and those are processing fees and fee for learners value proposition, both of them being INR 25,000/- each for an Indian National. USD $500 each, is what a foreign national has to pay. The tuition fee is split into three instalments. INR 4,50,000/- for each of the three instalments for an Indian student. Foreign nationals are supposed to pay $7000 for the first instalment followed by $7250 for the second and third instalment. The total payable fees (registration fees + tuition fees) for the Indian students and foreign ones are INR 14,00,000 and $22,500 respectively.

Eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria for someone willing to apply to the course is a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in any discipline from a recognized institution. The university accepts scores of various tests such as the Alliance Management Aptitude Test (AMAT), GMAT, CAT, NMAT, XAT, CMAT, KMAT and MAT.

Scholarships

There are various scholarships offered by the university. The scholarships differ on the basis of the marks scored in different tests and previous academic achievements. The highest scholarship goes up to 50% of the total fees. There are scholarships available for women, people belonging to the SC/ST, differently abled persons, national level players, people of the defence quota and domicile. There are limited seats for scholarships and they are awarded on the first-come first-serve basis.

The Alliance University has tied up various financial institutions through which certain loan assistance is provided. This assistance is applied to all of their undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The advantages include speedy disposal of loans, availability of loans throughout the whole country and concessional rate of interest. The MBA course in the Alliance University also offers certain exchange programmes in certain semesters during the two-year period. It helps an MBA-aspirant to gain a global perspective along with cross-cultural learning. Exchange programmes happen in places like France, Taiwan, UK and USA. The university has tie-ups with certain institutions from the mentioned places that aids these programmes.

Numerous recruiters come to the campus every year. In the year 2021-22, over 600 recruiting partners were present out of which 40% were new. The highest package offered was 21.6 lakh per annum.
