The University of Calicut is known as Calicut University and is a state-run public University located in the Malappuram district of Kerala. It is the first university set up in Northern Kerala in 1968. It is created by bifurcating Kerala University. It manages around 400 independent affiliated colleges spread across Northern Kerala. Calicut University MBA Application Process 2022

The detailed application process that candidates should follow for applying for the MBA programme at the University of Calicut is given below.

Step 1 - Verification of Mobile Number Using OTP

• Candidates should complete the mobile number verification using the OTP received on the mobile.

Step 2 - CAP ID Creation

• Candidates must create a CAP ID by providing the basic information using the New User link available on the MBA 2022 registration page.
• The CAP ID and Password will be sent to the registered mobile number after the successful submission of the details.

Step 3 - Registration Completion and Fee Payment

• Candidates can log in with the CAP ID and Password and fill the registration page by providing the necessary information.
• Candidates should take care while selecting the category of reservation while filling up the registration data.
• Candidates have to click on the "Finalise and Proceed to Payment" and make payment.

• During the fee payment, candidates will be redirected to the University of Calicut Instant Web Payment System (CUIWPS) page where the student can select their choice of payment.
• After completion of the fee payment, candidates can take a printout of the application form by logging in.

• Candidates' application forms will be considered complete if they finish all the steps mentioned above and is holding a finalised printout showing the approved stamp on the photo of the candidate.
• Candidates have to mention the CAP ID number in all future communications.

Calicut University MBA Selection Process 2022

The selection process for MBA admission at Calicut University is given below.

• Candidates applying for MBA admission at Calicut University must have a valid score in any one of the examinations mentioned below.
  • KMAT Conducted by the CEE, Government of Kerala 2022.
  • IIM-CAT, November 2021
  • CMAT or AICTE, 2022.
• Candidates will be shortlisted for admission to the MBA programme based on the combined score obtained in the CAT 2021/CMAT 2022/KMAT 2022, Group Discussion and the Personal Interview.

• 2 years of work experience is required for the MBA evening programme along with other requirements. In case the number of applications with two years of experience is inadequate then others will be considered.

Calicut University MBA Eligibility 2022

• Any degree of the Calicut University including SDE programmes of the University of Calicut or that of any other University or Institute recognized by the AICTE or UGC.
• Programmes of other universities shall be in a 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern under regular-stream.
• In all cases, the candidates should have passed the Bachelor's Degree examination with an aggregate not less than 50% or equivalent grade. OBC, SC and ST students can avail of 5% relaxation in marks according to the rules.
• Candidates awaiting their final year degree results can also apply for MBA admission. However, all such candidates have to submit their Certificates and final mark sheets to prove their eligibility before the closing date of admission fixed by the University.
