Scholarships
- Students will get scholarships based on their academic performance. Students can apply for different scholarship schemes such as Scholarships for Students from Pondicherry and Scholarship for Single Girl Child are some of the scholarships that Pondicherry University offers.
Note - Entire fee for the course will be waived for physically handicapped students.
Merit Scholarship
- The first three candidates who top the university in the entrance exam become eligible for a merit scholarship of 2,000, 1,500, and 1,000/- per month.
- For subsequent semesters, candidates who score high in the semester will be awarded.
Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship
20% students of every PG programme are eligible for the MCM scholarship of Pondicherry University. The scholarship depends on the merit and parental income of the students. The parents' annual income must not exceed Rs 2,50,000/- per year. The amount of scholarship under this scheme is Rs. 750 per month.
Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Child
The UGC will provide scholarships for single girl children who pursue PG programmes.
