The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay is a technical institute and public research university located in Powai, Mumbai. It was the second IIT to be established in India and was established in 1958. Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM) is a public business school of IIT, Bombay and was established in 1995. It was named to Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management in 2000 in honour of Dr. Sailesh J. Mehta, Mechanical Engineering Graduate of IIT Bombay.

IIT Bombay MBA Application Process 2022
The application process for getting admission to the MBA programme at IIT Bombay is online and the steps involved in it are given below.
- Go to the official website of the SJMSOM, IIT Bombay - https://www.somhttps://www.som.iitb.ac.in/.iitb.ac.in/. Click on the MBA admissions tab.
- Now, click on the "Online Application for MBA link available and press on the "New User" and "Register" tabs.
- Provide your email ID and fill up the details in the registration form by providing the following information to complete registration.

- After registration, log in using the email ID used for registration.

IIT Bombay MBA Selection Process 2022
The selection of candidates for the MBA programme at IIT Bombay will be carried out in two phases and the details are given below.
Phase I - Short-listing for Interview
- In the first phase of the selection process, eligible candidates will be shortlisted for personal interviews among the candidates who have applied for the MBA programme based on their CAT score, academic performance, etc.
- Candidates must secure a minimum overall and sectional percentile as mentioned in the cutoff section to get short-listed.

IIT Bombay MBA Eligibility Criteria 2022
The eligibility requirements that candidates have to meet to pursue MBA from IIT Bombay are given below.
- Candidates who have passed a Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an institute or university recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the MHRD, Government of India with an aggregate of at least 60% marks or 6.5 CPI (55% or 6 CPI for SC/ST/PwD). The Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidates should be of minimum 4 years after completing secondary higher education or its equivalent.
- Candidates appearing for the final year examinations or awaiting the results of the above-mentioned degrees can also apply. The percentage requirements are the same as mentioned above.
- Candidates who have passed CS, CFA, CA, FRM or ICWA with a first-class Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with an aggregate of at least 60% marks or 6.5 CPI (55% or 6 CPI for candidates of SC/ST/PwD category).
