Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is a public research university established in 1969 in Delhi by the act of Parliament. JNU BTech Application Process 2022

Candidates have to apply and secure a good rank in the JEE Mains exam to get a dual degree programme (BTech + MS/MTech) admission at JNU. The step-wise application process of JEE Mains is given below.

Step 1 - Registration

• Candidates have to go to the official website of the JEE Main - https://jeemain.nta.nic.in.
• Then candidates have to register for the online application and note the system-generated application number.
• Candidates should create a password and select a security question after giving relevant information for JEE Mains registration.
• Application number gets generated after successful completion of entering the personal information.

Step 2 - Filling Up the Application Form

• Candidates can fill out the application form for the JEE Mains by logging in using the application number and password.
• Here, candidates have to provide information regarding their personal, and educational qualifications and upload all the mandated documents in the prescribed format.

Step 3 - Fee Payment

• Candidates have to pay the application fee for JEE Mains after completing steps 1 and 2 involved in the application process.
• Candidates can pay the JEE Mains application fee online using the convenient mode of transaction.
• After the fee payment, confirmation regarding the same appears on the screen.
• Candidates can take a printout of the confirmation page of the JEE Mains application form for future reference.

JNU BTech Selection Process 2022

The selection of students for the BTech + MS/MTech dual degree programme at JNU will be done through the following process.

• The students will be admitted to the dual degree programmes at JNU after 10+2 based on their JEE MAINS rank through CSAB/JoSAA.
• As per the DASA Scheme of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), 15% of supernumerary seats for foreign nationals are reserved at the entry-level of the dual degree (BTech + MS/MTech) programme at JNU.

JNU BTech Eligibility Criteria 2022

The eligibility criteria that students have to meet to secure admission for BTech + MS/MTech dual degree programme at JNU are given below.

• All the students who have completed their Class XII or equivalent examinations in 2020, 2021, and 2022 or appearing for the exam in 2022 irrespective of their age are eligible.
• The students must have passed the Class XII examination with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with Biotechnology/Chemistry/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects.
• All the students must secure a valid score and rank in the JEE MAINS exam to participate in counselling and secure admission at JNU for a dual degree programme.
