About the Institute and Course

National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra aspires to be a role model in research as well as technical education. The Institute began its MBA program from the year 2006-2007 intending to fulfil its commitment to the world of business. Today, the MBA program offered by NIT has made a successful mark because of the strong curriculum, expert faculty, keen-learners etcetera.

Application Procedure

The applicants are required to submit the non-refundable application fees through demand draft/online payment in only the State Bank of India.

The application fees for the MBA program are as follows:

• INR 1,000 for General/EWS/OBC category
• INR 500 for ST/SC category

The steps for applying are mentioned below:

1. Applicants are required to go to the following link - https://www.onlinesbi.sbi/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm
2. After ticking on the check box, the candidate is required to tap on proceed. The candidate has to accept the terms and conditions stated.
3. In the section asking for State of Institution/Corporate, the candidate has to fill Haryana.
4. The applicant shall have educational institutions as the type of institution/corporate.
5. After clicking on GO, the candidate is required to enter the name of the educational institution – Director, NIT Kurukshetra.
6. After submitting the payment category shall be selected as MBA Admission application fees.
7. The candidate shall fill in their details and complete the payment procedure.

It should be noted that the candidate has completed all the fields in the application form and attached one self-attested copy of the following:

• B.Tech/B.E./detailed graduation exam marks/evidence of appearing in the final graduation exam that should be attained from the Institution Head for applicants passing in the year 2021.
• Category certificate if required.
• Valid MAT/CAT/CMAT or any other National level exam 2020 and 2021 score card’s photocopy
• Online receipt of INR 1000 (for OBC/general/EWS applicants) and INR 500 (for ST/SC candidates)

Admission Procedure

According to the admission reports for batch 2021-2023, the sanctioned intake for the MBA program was 53. The division of seats is mentioned below:

CAT/MAT/CMAT or any other National level test

• 2020 and 2021 valid score: 70 Marks
• Performance in personal interview and group discussion: 30 Marks

The students are required to pay one-time charges at the time of admission as stated below:

• Admission fees of INR 1,000.
• Building fees of INR 5,000.
• Alumni fee of INR 500.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the MBA program as per the batch 2021-2023 are given below:

• Applicants ought to have a Bachelor's degree or comparable qualification from any University that is incorporated by the act of State or Central legislatures in India or other educational institutions recognised by the Parliament's Act or declared to be deemed as a University as per the third section of UGC Act, 1956. Another option for the applicant is to possess a comparable educational qualification that is recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Indian Government/AIU. Here, in this degree, that candidate must be having at least three years of education after completion of higher secondary school.
• The applicant should have obtained at least 50% in bachelor's or comparable qualification. In the case of ST/SC applicants, the minimum percentage is forty-five per cent.

National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the NSE academy a completely owned subsidiary of NSE, that is, the National Stock Exchange of India Limited. The aim for the same is to pursue advanced research in the relevant areas and acts as a facilitator for promoting financial awareness in that region
