| Written Test | Section | Marks |
| Numerical Ability | 50 | 50 |
| Logical Reasoning | 50 | 50 |
| English | 50 | 50 |
| Management Skills | 50 | 50 |
Sections of the exam includes Numerical Ability, Logical Reasoning, English & Comprehension, and Management Skills.
The entrance exam will be administered in two ways: a remote proctored home-based online test and a computer-based online test.
- First at time of counselling, the candidate shall be offered admission based on rank in the final merit list and the availability of seats for a particular program at a particular Institute of the candidate's choice. The mere act of taking the entrance exam and having your name appear on the merit list doesn't guarantee you admission to the institute's programme. The selection process and admission to the programme are contingent upon meeting the eligibility requirements.
- If a candidate receives an equal number of points overall, their relevant score will be calculated by using the following rule of reference:
- In the event of a tie, the applicants will be ranked based on the percentage of marks they received on the HSC or its equivalent exam.
- Candidates will be ranked, if they are equal, based on the percentage of marks they received in the SSC or a test that is equivalent.
- The applicants will be ranked based on computerized random numbering once all the aforementioned scores are equal.
- Students will be summoned for counselling and assigned seats.
