Andhra University, established in 1926 is a public university located in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Application Procedure

The application procedure is completely online. The students need to visit the official university websitehttps://andhrauniversity.edu.in/ during admission time and register themselves for the MBA Course. After filling out all the relevant information and registering, a small fee of INR 300 is payable through a Demand Draft. The students are requested to download the complete application form for future references. The last date to pay the application fees is 17^th December 2021. A fine has to be paid with the fees by the students who are paying after 20^th December 2021.

Selection Process

The admission process of the Andhra University is merit based. To get themselves enrolled in this course, the students need to get a good percentile in AP ICET Entrance Exam, which stands for Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test. An interview is also conducted for the shortlisted candidates.

AP ICET is intended to assess the applicant's capacity for systematic thought, verbal & mathematical use, and to determine his/her eligibility for admission to MBA programs. The duration of the exam is 150 minutes. The exam has 200 questions which are divided into three sections. Each question carries 1 mark. Each section tests a different ability. Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must have earned a bachelor's degree from Andhra University or from a university that Andhra University recognizes as being at least equal to as it, excluding BFA and BA(OL).
• Obtaining a graduation grade of 50% (45% for SC, ST, or BC candidates) is needed.
• Additionally, candidates should have taken math as a required subject at the SSC or Intermediate level.
• The candidate with a professional degree, such as a BE, B.Tech, B.Pharm, law, medicine, ACS, AMIE, or AIETE, is also eligible.
• The Program is available to in-service applicants who have completed a qualifying exam or have at least two years of work experience as an employee in any business. Candidates with five years of experience after graduation or qualifying examination, on the other hand, seek admission without a test.
• The applicant must have taken the State-wide Entrance Test, the ICET, or the test offered by the Andhra University School of Distance Education and earned the rank.

Reservations

• 15% of the seats are reserved for the Scheduled Caste applicants.
• 6% of the seats are reserved for the Scheduled Tribes applicants.
• A total of 33.33 % of the available seats in each course are set aside for qualified female applicants in each category.
• The number of seats allotted to qualifying applicants with physical disabilities will be 3% of the total.

Scholarships

The university offers many scholarships to its students. A few are mentioned below:

• Merit Social Welfare/ Tribal Welfare Scholarships: The Government of Andhra Pradesh has given merit-based social welfare/tribal welfare scholarships to the qualified students. UGC/AICTE fellowships are awarded to PG GATE qualifying students.
• BTH Scholarship: For two levels of tuition fee waivers on the existing tuition for the fee movers at BTH, i.e. All international students will be chosen for the BTH scholarship based on their academic record. The availability of BTH Scholarships is dependent on funding.
• 80 percent of the university's students are given scholarships by various central and state government agencies. The students are also being encouraged to seek out financial aid from other organizations. Alumni are helping students in some departments by offering various merit-based and merit-cumulative scholarships.
